"The hosts, Christian and Catherine, were so kind and friendly - really great people! We appreciated the quiet location that was close to the beach (5 min walk), close to downtown Granville, and not too far from Mont St Michel, Bayeux, and the Normandy beaches. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Since we stayed here for a month, we also appreciated having a full kitchen with all the necessary cooking items available and having a washing machine. The gîte does not have its own internet...

"A lovely well equipped old house and modern annex. The local bar was a great bonus Kitchen in main house a tad tight and internet very intermittent Overall the house is of a very high standard and any issues quickly addressed by Florence"

"Helene was a superb host. Her communication from booking to check in was excellent, and she came to welcome us at the start of our stay and farewell us at the end. The house is beautiful and even better than the pictures, with a fabulous view of the sea, the saltwater lido pool in the bay and the bouchon mussel farm round the bay. The living rooms are spacious, light, and you ah w great views from the front of the house and of course the balcony which runs across the whole front of the house....

"We spent two nights at the gites with a group of 20. We don't speak French, but we wanted to see Mont Saint Michel. The manager didn't speak English, so we had a communication problem from the beginning. We needed sheets , and the cleaning fee did not seem optional, so the cost was higher than I anticipated from the ad. The gites were clean and secure. There was ample dishes for cooking and meals. "Nous avons séjourné une dizaine de jours dans ce gîte et avons énormément apprécié sa configuration atypique (sur 3 niveaux) qui lui donne un caractère singulier avec beaucoup de cachet. "This property has it all: great location right near a cute village, a view of Mont St. Michel, 12 mins to the center of a lovely small city for good dining options and practicalities (Avranches), generally great amenities, wonderful heated pool. The host was super sweet and communicative. The only suggestion for improvement would be for the owner to invest in some portable fans as, with climate change, things can get quite warm even at night. This is a highly recommended property!"
