"A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. "

"We were just here for a little weekend get-away before Christmas. The house is as advertised. It feels like staying at your friends well-loved beach house. The view is beautiful, you are close to everything and there is plenty of room for kids (and the dog) to relax. While it has almost everything, there wasn’t a microwave, which was a bit of a surprise. The sandspurs are abundant, so shows outdoors are a must. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a great stay at this rental. Even though as some other reviews suggest, the condo is a bit outdated, it would not deter us from renting this condo again. The location is great (we’ve been in OBX multiple times and love Avon!) and the ocean views can’t be beat. Waking up every morning to the sun rising over the ocean was amazing. If you’re a family like ours, and aren’t bothered by the condo being a little outdated, I would highly recommend this rental! "

"Six of us met at this house for Christmas and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect. The interior is also perfect for a group our size. Enough room so that no one feels cramped and a perfect living room, dining room, kitchen area. The host is really wonderful and answered all of our questions and is very friendly.
