"A fascinating property with a history. Fabulous views of the chateau from the bedroom windows and from the courtyard. Right in the centre of Saumur, but had a large heated indoor swimming pool. The extra treat was the pool table and pinball machine. It was easy enough to reverse the cars into the courtyard with practice. It was lovely and convenient for restaurants, the chateau and the bakery. Gilles, our host was at the end of a phone if we needed him. Nicole the housekeeper made us welcome...

"Myself and my family have just returned from our ten day summer holiday at Barbara’s wonderful quaint property. Barbara was more than accommodating from the moment we arrived to the second we departed, a truly fantastic host! The large garden and pool had our 4 year old in his element the entire holiday enabling Mum and Dad plenty of relaxing time to reset. Thank you Barbara again! We’ll treasure this holiday for many years ☺️"

"Owners/hosts made us very welcome and on hand to help when required. Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

"The pictures don’t do the property justice, we were a couple who went with our three dogs. The Gite was spacious and had all the amenities you would need, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden is enclosed, perfect for reactive dogs, the pool area is gated off. The garden has a bbq, and a number of games. The family running the Gite were welcoming, and let us have our privacy. "Hemos estado muy tranquilos, rodeados de viñas y campos de girasoles, que es lo que veniamos a buscar en esta zona de Francia De todos modos, creemos que el anuncio debería dejar más claro que la casa no tiene wifi y que los propietarios viven justo al lado y que se comparte la piscina con ellos. La fachada que da a sur no tiene ningún tipo de alero que protega el interior de la casa del sol y tienes que estar siempre con las cortinas corridas. El aire acondicionado de dentro es insuficiente,...

"Monsieur et madame Siour sont un couple très sympathique et très acceuillant.Ils sont de bon conseil pour passer agréablement votre séjour. Le logement est fonctionnel et très propre.Nous avons passé une semaine agréable et fait de belles visites parfois surprenantes (grottes pétrifiantes).Nous recommandons cette location sans réserve."
