"We stayed here because it’s dog-friendly. Loved it because it was steps away from the beach. We walked on the beach to the pier morning noon and night; our pup definitely loved that.The exterior is kind of old and rusty but the rooms appeared to have been slightly updated with laminate floors, are work on walls and comfortable bedding. It doesn’t have the old musty smell; definitely a good thing. We also took our bikes and there was plenty of space to keep them and our dog’s crate in the room with us and we all fit in the elevator (2 adults, pup and 2 bikes). We rode our bikes all the way to the sand dunes in Oceano. Would definitely stay there again if we have our pup with us again. "

"cute little beachside Inn, a bit dated but well kept. friendly staff, free pie and ice cream in the evening, wonderful coffee shop on the roof overlooking Avila Beach with free breakfast. I borrowed a wine glass and accidentally broke it in our wonderful in-room hot tub, staff was very understanding when I confessed :) and didn’t charge me anything for the glass. would recommend this place for a couples getaway."

"Great stay. Beach access is 15 feet from the Hotel. Amazing Ocean View since we have an OceanFront room. The heater is a little tricky. Just make sure you go to the setting that looks like a "Sun" and all the emoji settings are lit, especially the one that says Eheater and Save. Even got a late check out for free. "

"My family and I stopped by this quaint inn on the way to Anaheim. It felt cozy and warm and the staff was kind and excellent. It was also full of college families, which made it feel even homeier. We will definitely return at some point the next time we visit. San Luis Obispo."
