A wonderful apartment in the heart of Avignon. Walking distance to local sights and the train/bus station which made it extremely convenient for day trips to the surrounding areas. The apartment faces a quiet pedestrian street on the edge of the old town. It is very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, very convenient washer & drier, firm beds and relaxing jacuzzi/shower. The owner is delightful and easy to communicate with. She was very flexible regarding arrival/departure time.

Wonderful apartment, wonderful host
The property is as centrally located as possible, right off Place de l’Horloge and the Palais des Papes. The apartment is comfortable and larger than it looks in photos, with 2 bedrooms, equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. A very convenient underground parking garage is a 5 min walk, with exits through the old city walls, which makes it easy to get in adds out of the city for day-trips. Christèle was a great host, greeting us in-person and she provided a booklet with dining/shopping recommendations. We could not be happier with our stay at this apartment.

The perfect stay in Avignon
Our stay in Avignon was wonderful! Christèle was a most kind and considerate host. She greeted us when we checked in and answered all of our questions about the apartment, Avignon, and possible side trips in the surrounding area. The apartment was perfect for us. It was beautifully decorated with a well stocked kitchen and modern washer/dryer. She also provided an extensive guide book with very helpful information on the apartment as well as recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc. in the surrounding area. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and would gladly stay there again.

An awesome month in Provence
We used Cristelle’s apartment as our home base for the month of October. The apartment was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. We loved opening the huge windows and listening to the bustle of Place de Change. The neighborhood was great with lots of cafés and shops all just steps from the Palais des Papes. We loved the Saturday market in Avignon and would pick up whatever was fresh to cook in the well appointed kitchen. Cannot recommend this place more highly. It was truly outstanding

Best Vacation rental ever!
The apartment is spacious, clean, very well appointed, charmingly decorated, and quiet, despite being mere steps away from the busy town square with its restaurants, ice cream shops, and nightlife. Fantastic location: a very short walk in any direction yields historic and other treasures. Christele was gracious, welcoming, and extremely generous and helpful with parking, check in, check out and tons of valuable information about where to shop, where to eat (and where not to!), and what sites to take in. All the best guidebooks (Michelin green guide to Provence) in English and French you could need for Avignon and the surrounding area are at hand. We were satisfied beyond our highest expectations.

Great apartment Wonderful Host
This is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. The location in central Avignon is perfect, a 10 minute walk from the train station and just steps from the Palais des Papes. The kitchen was well supplied and easy to work in, and there was a nice stock of spices, condiments etc. The rest of the apartment was better than advertised. We could happliy have stayed much longer. It even has a real clothes dryer! No rack of damp clothes sitting in your living room. Christèle is the consumate host. She was in touch with us before our arrival and was at the apartment to welcome us when we got there. She came over to help us organize our departure, and when there was some trouble with our car pickup due to the ongoing social demonstrations she called our driver and arranged an alternate pickup area, then walked with us to make sure we met our ride. You cannot beat that. Overall it was a better than five star experience and we have no hesitation in recommending Christèle's apartment.

We loved our stay at this lovely apartment in the heart of Avignon. The location really couldn't have been more perfect within steps of the main square, the Papal Palace, restaurant and shops. Christele was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. The apartment had a plethora of guide books, maps, as well as a very helpful notebook of information on the apartment and local recommendations. We really appreciated the full-size washer and dryer and the kitchen was well-stocked. The apartment was spacious and just the right size for us and our two teens. Everything you could want for a week in Avignon and more
My wife, daughter and I just completed a week’s stay at this charming apartment right in the center of the historic district in Avignon, and we couldn’t have been happier. The apartment was quite roomy and was well situated for walks to the Palais des Papes and Pont d’Avignon, as well as to many fine restaurants. A major asset of the apartment is the owner, Christele, who could not have been more hospitable. She suggested areas of Provence to visit as well as her favorite restaurants, all of which were right on the money. We fell in love with Avignon and Provence and hope to return for a longer stay, and when we do, it will be at Christele’s apartment. Many thanks, Christele, and a bientot! Elliot, Janet and Alison

Exceeded our expectations!
This apartment was truly amazing! Incredibly central, yet quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning worked brilliantly and it was fantastic to have a cool retreat available in the heat of the day. It was very well equipped with good quality beds/sofa/TV/kitchen stuff etc, fast reliable wi-fi, and a spacious bathroom with a lovely powerful shower. There was ample space for our family of four. The lovely owner Christele was very efficient at organising the details before our stay, and went out of her way to arrange check-in and check-out around our travel arrangements (Eurostar). She came to meet us on our day of arrival and couldn't have been more welcoming or more helpful. In short, very highly recommended! Thankyou Christele.

Perfect in every way.
The apartment is beyond perfect. The apartment is well located in the old city. Everything is walking distance. The apartment has modern fixtures, including a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and my personal favorite, a heated towel rack. The owner actually met us; she is charming and gracious. The apartment is lovely and clean, with all the comforts of home. We stayed in Avignon and then went to Arles, Nimes and Les Baux de Provence by train. Avignon makes a great base for touring the south of France. We plan on going back to this lovely apartment and told Christelle that she should expect us.
