No 2 Bynack House is a lovely space, very well maintained and very welcoming. The only downside is the awful parking space surrounding the estate, which mars it a little bit. One can ignore it and look at the hills instead. Very thoughtfully appointed and cozy. Recommended for short stays or people who are not at home much and don't need a view, but all the facilities close by.

Fabulous stay, lovely small apartment has everything you need near centre of town, great customer service through Great North Lodges - Wendy and wonderful help and assistance from the housekeeping staff - Jane who went above and beyond to help us. Great location for a short break
Spotlessly clean and well appointed apartment. Great location for all the facilities in the town. Newly Constructed so the interior was fresh and bright. We were a party of 2 plus a dog which worked well. Would have liked the app, which in theory is a great idea, to have had a bit more info about the property itself as no specific info provided about amenities within

Everything you need
2 Bynack House was our home base from which to bike and hike. It is well equipped and has a good view from the kitchen window. We arrived by public transport, and could easily walk to the property with all our luggage. The contact with the Great Northern Lodges was fast and smooth. All in all, a recommendation, especially when not travelling by car!

Modern clean property with few points for improvement
The property is lovely, modern and very clean. Only faults would be the beds are not as comfy as they look. Also the table in the kitchen is far too big and a real struggle to fit all 4 in the kitchen for a meal. Could do with a smaller table. We did enjoy our stay and the location is excellent for a stay in Aviemore.

Centrally located, immaculate and modern apartment
This is a compact, modern apartment located in the heart of Aviemore village, ideal for access to all local amenities. The apartment was immaculately presented and also allowed dogs which was our main reason for choosing this particular property. I do worry though that with its pristine pale grey carpets, furniture and walls that it may only be a matter of time before its dog friendly policy changes! I do hope not though as we would definitely return to this particular property on future occasions. It is adequately equipped with almost everything you need for a short break (although my overall rating was slightly tainted by the lack of ANY toilet roll or hairdryer!) Powerful shower, VERY firm beds, plenty of towels. In short, I would recommend this property to others for its convenient location but please provide at least one starter roll of loo paper and a hairdryer! Thank you for allowing us (inc dog) to stay and we will return

Would have liked more info on heating instructions and TV has really no signal until the office sent over TV repair guy to supply an extra box the app has no Info instructions on it Would be nice just to see leaflets for people who haven't been to aviemore before

An enjoyable stay in modern accommodation.
Perfect for us as a family of 4. Having stayed in Aviemore many times before, in larger properties and hotels, I can say that this was a most enjoyable stay once again in Aviemore. The property provided us with all the space we needed for the weeks stay. A nice wide staircase leads you up to the modern bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is the smaller of the rooms but we managed to get the 4 of us around the dining table for any meals without issue on the couple of occasions we needed it. A nice big fridge and freezer considering it was integrated. I enjoyed being able to see out in 3 different directions from the property. The location was great, an easy walk to the shops, bars and restaurants or train station. Plenty of parking spaces available. Not that we had bikes but you can lock-up bikes in the large walk in bin store room. Maybe useful to know if you wanted to take bikes but thought you had nowhere to store them at this property. Bring a bike lock though. Overall very pleased with the property, facilities and location. My only suggestions would be to add a drying/draining rack in the kitchen for the washing up and tighten up the kitchen sink tap a little more from underneath.

Very nice flat - but problems with the central heating/hot water.
The flat is comfortable, clean and well located, with distant views of the Cairngorms from the kitchen window. We would have been delighted with it but for a problem with the boiler. When we arrived it wasn't working, no heating or hot water. A message on the control console showed the batteries were low. Someone from the maintenance company came out and changed the batteries, so the boiler came on. But after he'd gone we found the heating wouldn't switch off again. Apparently a sensor had malfunctioned so the system thought the temperature was zero degrees so it kept pushing out heat. We called the company again then waited in all the following day until a plumber turned up at about 5.30 in the afternoon. He could have let himself in using the key safe, but we wanted to be there - we wanted to speak to him because we were worried about the boiler over-heating. It was as well we did wait in because the plumber couldn't fix it because the problem was with the electrics . He did give us a workaround - use the controls on the boiler itself to turn the heating on and off manually and use the immersion for hot water until they could get an electrician to fix the system controls. However, the problem wasn't fixed during the remaining 6 days of our stay and we heard nothing more from the maintenance company. One day someone accessed the flat using the key safe while we were out, but we've no idea if it was the electrician and the system certainly wasn't fixed. So we wasted a day of our holiday and the communication from the company who maintain the property wasn't as good as it could have been. It's a shame because otherwise we were really pleased with the property. I've said we would recommend the property but that is with the proviso that they get the heating/hot water system fixed properly and the maintenance company do better with communicating with people in the event of problems.

Fantastic apartment!
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, modern, well equipped apartment in a fantastic central location. There was ample parking right outside the apartment and Aldi was a stone away. The perfect size for our family (2 young children). The kitchen was very well equipped. Any questions we had prior to our stay were answered promptly which was appreciated.

Family weekend break in Speyside.
Bynack House is located no more than 150m from the hub of Aviemore. It is close to the retail park which has an Aldi and is a seven minute walk to Tesco. Self caterers need take nothing, it’s all available on your doorstep. Bars and restaurants are easily reached on foot as well. The property is well furnished and warm with excellent beds and shower. Would definitely use this property again!

Lovely central flat
This is the second time we have stayed here. The location is perfect. Right in the centre of Aviemore It's a lovely new, modern flat with its own entrance. We have stayed in quite a few places in Aviemore over the years,and this is our favourite. I couldn't find a hairdryer and when I reported it I received one the next day. Fantastic customer service. The only very minor criticism I have is that there wasn't enough glassware. Only seven glasses in total, including two wine glasses.
