"B&B Elena is a really nice, charming place to stay. The owner is lovely and so helpful. Breakfast is good. The room we were in was very pleasant, though the shower was a bit cramped. There was tea and coffee and biscuits, and even a fridge and microwave. The house is within about 15 minutes walk from both the centre of Pompeii and the excavations, making it an ideal spot to stay if you want to see the sights or take a train to Naples or Sorrento. "

"This was by far one of the best stays we've had, either in Europe or US. Fantastic & quiet location away from the bustle of tourists. It was a very nice retreat after fighting crowds elsewhere. The owner was also extremely helpful and very friendly, we very much enjoyed talking to him. "Apartment was very clean. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Colorful and bright decorative color palette. Things to improve: bathroom folding door was broken when we arrived and as a result difficult to close. Towel Hook was loose and about to break off so we couldn't use. Led light remained on in bedroom ( not sure what it was from, security? Smoke detector?. Very minor inconveniences in light of the good quality and cleanliness of apartment."
