"Wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. We stayed in three other "nice" hotels on our Portugal trip, and this one was so much better than the rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made you feel like a "Guest" not just a number. Clean and beautifully decorated with everything prepared to a very high level. Lovely bar with piano player every night. We can't wait to stay there again!"

"Very walkable, convenience store close-by. Canal & boats about 10-15 min easy walk. Reakfasr is excellent. Comfortable room-we didn’t have much of a view but didn’t matter as in room to allow. Comfortable bed, crisp linens. Very enjoyable stay Be certain to take one of the boat rides, we did it @ sunset & it was unique. Planned to do a walking tour in am but person cancelled @ last minute."

"We booked this hotel because it was not expensive. We arrived early and were surprised that we were offered a room and could go there as soon as around 9AM. The lady at reception was very nice. Our room was pretty clean but incredibly cold. There were spare blankets and a heater. We used them, but I still could not warm up after a shower with water slightly higher than body temperature, it never became warmer. If you travel during the winter, you better reconsider this place. "This hotel is beautifully decorated. The location is good and close to the river. The staff are nice and helpful. I took an one-hour massage and only cost me 60 euros. "

"7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. Shower- nice and hot, good pressure. Noise- given my room faced the main street the insulation was surprisingly good. I did hear some street noise but mostly sound proof...

"We were actually called the day before to change hotels to As Americas a 4 start hotel for the same price. 10 minutes walk from the Aveiro canals though. The hotel was very nice but we only had a view of a roof. The kingsize bed was hard a rock but very clean and nice bathroom. The room had a humid musty smell so I advise the hotel to air out any rooms before a client checks in. There was excellent free breakfast and free onsite parking. The service was also excellent.
