Gorgeous six bedroom, five and a half bath home. First floor offers three bedrooms, one hall bath and one in room suite, laundry room, and large den with wet bar with rear yard access. There is also a large covered front porch for enjoying those summer breezes. Second floor offers a large open living space with upscale kitchen with large center island and dining area. There is a half bath in the hall leading to the two second floor suites. There is another large deck off the living area to lounge and enjoy the summer sun. The Third floor master bedroom with private deck is a thing of beauty with large tile shower and soaking tub. This home has everything there is to offer for the perfect summer getaway. Owners are willing to allow dogs with consent and a small pet fee of $250.00.

The Powers Group is a Full-Service Vacation Rental Company that handles the rental of properties throughout Cape May County! Booking your Vacation rental through us can help ease the process of booking Summer reservations and save you money. All of our reservations have an amenities package included in the cost of stay. This includes bedsheets for all beds, towels (bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths), toilet paper for each bathroom, and paper towels. Tenants will need to bring Extra Pillows and Blankets, Additional Personal Toiletries, Groceries, Paper Products, Beach Equipment, and Beach Towels. Throw Pillows and Bedspreads are provided. Additional Linen and Beach Equipment Rentals are available through Beach Home Cleanings, LLC

VRBO is a property advertising website only. All final decisions regarding reservations are at the owners sole discretion. Once a reservation is confirmed on our end, your actual payment is taken, reservation confirmation sent, and lease is generated. Once the lease is signed by both the property owner and tenant, then your reservation is final.

FANTASTIC HOME!!!
This was a fantastic home in the heart of Avalon!! The house is gorgeous and fully equipt with everything we needed! Great set up! The kitchen family room was a perfect entertaining place and the porches were lovely to sit out on in the sun and in the shade! We biked or walked into town and to the beach everyday! We definitely will be coming back!

Avalon home
I would highly recommend this property. It is a lovely large house, very well equipped, and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. 2 1/2 blocks to the beach. My only advice for the owner would be to upgrade their cable to include ESPN. All in all a great house.

End of Summer Vacation
Perfect house for two large families. Close walking distance to town and to the beach. House was well stocked but could have been a little more organized. Downstairs had another living room which was great if you had family that needed to work. We utilized the small table and set up a computer monitor there. Nice back yard where we set up games. We would definitely go back as it was really a great location and beautiful large home.

Extended Family Vacation
Property is fantastic! All bedrooms were large and bedding was clean. We enjoyed using both decks. Kitchen was well appointed with two different types of coffee makers and tons of serving options for large groups. The home offered nice furniture that was not worn. Parking in driveway was a bit tight, we tried to keep all vehicles on one side of the driveway and or parked on the street. Location was fantastic to restaurants, shopping and ice cream. (A nightly favorite.) The property manager was very attentive and addressed our requests timely. We would stay again!

Great for gatherings
Other than it raining 75% of our stay, the house and area it’s located in is terrific. A bit of a walk to the beach but so close to restaurants and mini golf and ice cream. All the bedrooms are spacious and pretty, nice for entertaining adult children since many have their own bathrooms. If there was any complaints it would be that there are no glass Pyrex pie plates or 9x11, 9x13 or other mw safe cook/bakeware. They come in handy when making dinners for 14+ Also, no working can opener could be found, also comes in handy when making tuna, salsas, beans etc.

Great house, super disappointed in condition
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property could be such great rental if the owners maintained it properly. The house smelled of pets and was filthy when we arrived. The realtor did send a cleaning woman back, but only after an hour and a half of scrubbing it ourselves. We could not even use the outside shower for the entire two weeks. This was our second summer to rent here because we really love the layout and location, but we arrived to find the same issues with the appliances we experienced and reported last year (Dishwasher, refrigerator door, washer/dryer). We had two sets of white sheets ruined, plus an entire white load of laundry due to black marks from the dryer. Realtor and owner claimed not to know about it but there were existing marks on their own bedding, as well from last year. There were also cobwebs with spiders and spider eggs in several corners of the house, floor and ceiling, which we had to vacuum. The realtor said that the owners had been there staying there just before us, which was even more disappointing that they were the ones to leave their own property in that condition. I would never give a negative review without giving the owner/realtor the opportunity to fix the issues but unfortunately they were not interested. Great house, super disappointed in condition.

Terrific Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was beautiful, enough space for six adults and two kids with room to spare. The second floor living area was full of light, and the deck was perfect for outdoor family dinners (and just hanging out). The location is perfect - close enough to walk to the beach (it was a bit long for the kids, 8 and 5, but they handled it okay), and right next to town. We frequently walked over to ice cream and mini-golf.The one issue we had was an incredibly unpleasant smell on the first floor. I contacted the house manager, who came over right away. His team identified the source of the smell (an unwashed floor mat they peeled off the bathroom floor), and after washing it, the downstairs was usable, if not pleasant. We stayed in August, towards the end of the season, so it's understandable that, after many quick flips between renters, the house isn't perfectly clean. But it could really use a deep clean - there was trash left behind the bed headboards on the floor, for example, and all the floor mats could have used a wash. Aside from that, though, really, the place was terrific.

Avalon getaway
Property is ideally located 2 1/2 block walk to beach and 1/2 block away from shopping/dining. Surprisingly quiet given proximity to main part of town, easy walk to most things. Home itself is large however the cleanliness left a lot to be desired typical jersey shore cleaning service along with price for such. Jersey shore nonsense with linens/towels have to rent thru separate company absolutely worst quality towels and no extra blankets available other than bedspreads, at this price point that is crazy. Pet friendly but where do extra fees end? The home itself was for sale so you could tell owner not putting any money back into it coffeemaker leaked all over counter when you tried to add water. Management company did respond quickly to a constantly leaking kitchen faucet and was swapped out in 1/2 day. They did have a garage with beach chairs and bikes in it however no mention of such in the listing so brought all of that along with purchasing a weekly beach tag for all members of my party prior to arrival to find 12 seasonal tags for use at house that was not mentioned in listing so my tag purchase was a complete waste of money. Overall a great space for a large family as plenty of beds and baths with close proximity to beach and town.

Avalon Vacation 2024 at 153 24th Street

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation for 2024 was decent. Upon arrival we found that the house was not cleaned very thoroughly. There was blonde pet hair all over the family room rug and couches and we found a hairy tennis ball under the couch. The downstairs level smelled like dog. This was our third year in this house, and it could use some upgrades including new couches in the family room, better water pressure, upgraded bathrooms, new washing machine (the current washing machine has black dirt or mold in it), a shelf in the outside shower, and other small conveniences.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently rented this house from 6/11-6/18. Check in was easy, got in earlier than check in time. Location was great, so close to main shopping/restaurants, and not a bad walk to beach. We did drive our chairs/toys/ cooler up each day for ease, but walking was totally fine. I loved how there were 2 king suites in addition to the queen rooms plus one twin room. All rooms were nice sized and beds were comfortable. The common area was perfect for our evening dinners and we did happy hour each night on the upper deck. I wished that the rocking chairs on the lower deck were not zip-tied,however, because it was not conducive for conversations. The kitchen was the best stocked rental that I have ever been in. I liked the fact that there was a washer and dryer available also. Probably the nicest all-around rental I've had the pleasure of renting. A tiny bit of wear-and-tear on walls and maybe carpets but all in all, a great week. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect Beach Stay
A group of 9 adults (4 families) and one toddler stayed here and this house was absolutely perfect for our group. It was spotless when we arrived and the kitchen was large and fully equipped- great area to all gather. The house itself was decorated so cute - it was even nicer in person! We had enough beach chairs and plenty of beach toys that we used from the shed. It was a quick walk to the beach, and an even quicker walk into town where we found ourselves browsing the shops, testing the ice cream, and going to dinner- not to mention the amazing sunsets we caught on the bayside. Not once did we feel on top of each other and having the separate den was a huge plus- we will definitely be renting again!
