Beautiful Catalina villa - stunning ocean views. Golf cart was a novelty for us but works very well for the Catalina culture. Owner responsiveness as we had questions ensured a positive trip.

Beautiful villa
Wonderful stay in a beautiful villa in Hamilton Cove community. FUNtastic location. Having the golf cart to get around was wonderful. The property owner was great to work with and a wealth of information on what to do while visiting. Every place he recommended to eat was yummy.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The golf cart alone is such a great bonus to this condo. The host was absolutely wonderful accommodating us. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you for your hospitality

It Was Amazing
We had a great time at this location and really enjoyed the island and everything that is had to offer. The owner was available whenever questions came up and made our stay easy and relaxing. We would definitely come back to this location if we were to travel back to Catalina in the future.

The property owner was great to work with and was very accommodating. The views were amazing, location fabulous, secluded, private, yet easy access to all the amenities in the village. For all the years I’ve been going to Catalina, this location proved to be a new winner for me.

Catalina Getaway
This Hamilton Cove condo was a fantastic getaway for my husband and I! Views were beautiful and the condo was very well appointed! Use of the golf cart was a wonderful bonus! Most of all, we really appreciate the owner’s flexibility since the ferries back to the mainland were cancelled on the day we were scheduled to leave due to weather. We will definitely be back!

The accommodations were lovely. The place was immaculate. The view was breath taking. The stairs coming up to the residence was not as bad as we had anticipated from reading other reviews. The golf cart was an added bonus that enhanced our adventure. We definitely will return.

Amazing views and some nice peace and quiet.
The property is amazing and only a 10 minute beautiful drive to Avalon in the golf cart. Place is spacious and bright. Sunrises are beautiful. The steps up to the condo are not easy but well worth it. The patio is sort of shared and we didn't see anyone else on it until the morning we were leaving. People seem to have a relaxed vibe on the island so it didn't bother us. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and you can crack the window in the bedroom to hear the sounds of the waves. Rimas was a great host and very informative as well as a bonus we were able to go to the museum. Very nice personal touches from Rimas. We appreciated it!

An absolute GEM!!! Loved everything about this stay!!
First and foremost, Rimas was incredibly responsive which was most appreciated. From the views, the peace and quiet, the flexibility on check in/check out times, the cleanliness of the unit, the comfortable bed and bedding, and the use of the golf cart... We have NO complaints. Simply OUTSTANDING!! The only recommendation to be made might be to possibly provide use of bathrobes (especially during the winter months) for post pool/jacuzzi; OR, recommend to guests to bring their own robes. Honestly, that is the only thing we could possibly recommend. Rimas made sure that our stay (to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday weekend) was absolutely wonderful!! We would love to make a return visit!!

Beautiful property, great host
Long weekend getaway with my wife, the condo was perfect. Very comfortable and nice, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The golf cart is in great shape and made access to the island convenient. The host was very responsive and provided all the info we needed to have a hassle-free stay. The sweeping oceanfront views are amazing, and the unit is about halfway up the hill - several staircases to ascend but the higher you are the better the view. Plus it was good exercise. Very tranquil vibe, high enough to take it all in but just low enough to hear the gentle waves. We spotted Catalina foxes and mule deer at dusk and in the evening returning from dinner and drinks in Avalon. The road is good, and Hamilton Cove is just far enough away from town for seclusion but is by no means an inconvenient drive. 5 stars, would stay there again! There are lots of steps

Had very old furniture, the bed and the lock on the door was broken and she was blaming it on us .
Very old and broken furniture . Very unprofessional , whoever book this condo make sure you take a picture of every little furniture , doors locks in there otherwise you will be blamed on right and left . I enjoyed the area very beautiful but the owner is very unprofessional.

We only had two bath towels for the weekend. And he texted us about his missing towels, accusing us of stealing them. And, despite the fact that we paid a fairly high cleaning fee, asked us to clean up the place. Honestly this says it all about the character of the manager.

Pure relaxation and perfect for our weekend!
My husband and I stayed in this wonderful VRBO for an extended weekend to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. The VRBO was clean and was exactly what we were looking for! The views are beautiful and the use of the golf cart made it so easy to go into town. The host is incredibly response and was great to us. We had a bottle of wine provided in the refrigerator to celebrate our special occasion. The stairs were a lot but I was fine going down them. Coming up was much more of a chore so my husband would drop me at the top and then park the golf cart. But it wasn't something that would keep us from staying again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Great location, great views, and actually 9 less stairs than advertised (from cart parking space to villa). Villa is updated and well-appointed. Golf cart was great and fun to drive. Owner was very responsive and helpful day of check-in. Only (minor) dings are the faucets--all three are ridiculous and should be replaced. Bathroom sink faucets spray wildly and should be replaced with aerators. Kitchen sink faucet may just have built up hard water deposits. Top rack of dishwasher is missing. Other minor ding is that the plug for the golf cart does not always seat properly--wasn't plug and go for us ever, always had to play with it a bit to make sure it was properly seated for charging. But these are little things--very happy with our stay. Thank you!

Dislikes- No AC, didn't like large cleaning fee and had to clean our room ourselves according to the checkout rules.. and even tho my wife was feeling sick the cleaning lady wouldn't budge for a later check-out at 11am but still charged a large cleaning fee and we had to clean our own room under threat of charging a higher fee if she wasn't satisfied with how we cleaned ..we felt like we could't touch or move anything out of fear of being blamed for something and charged a high fee.. didn't like the LATE 4PM check-in/ or the early 10AM check-out.. didn't like that my in-laws couldn't come out to see our room because they weren't paying customers, not even to look or hang out for coffee ...make sure you read the rules before booking if you can't get a refund for cancellation.. LIKES- THE VIEW.. The wave wall texture was impressive.. property manager was great ...returned calls or texts in a timely manner or the next day..
