"Amazing host was quick to answer any questions and super nice. Not intrusive at all but available and helpful. Property was clean and comfortable- especially the reclining sofa and the king bed. This is a working farm and the property is older and a bit rustic so be aware. Fully equipped and all appliances worked perfectly. The WiFi was blazing fast. The rooster will wake you early though if you are a late sleeper! The livestock guardian dog is the ultimate smiling greeter and such a sweetheart!...

"This place was perfect for us. Plenty of room for all nine of us. The kitchen was well stocked everything we needed for cooking. The teenagers stayed up stairs and were occupied with the pool table. But the grounds were amazing the views and lights outside were beautiful!"

"The listing was very accurate. It was close to everything I wanted to do. The host was extremely friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this listing. I was very impressed with the shower. It being a camper. Didn’t expect the water pressure to be awesome. The bed was very comfortable and slept like a rock every night. Loved every minute of my visit. "

"My cousin and I stayed here in April 2025 and drove about 30 minutes to Ennis to see the Bluebonnet fields and festival. Waxahachie has several cutie boutiques for a nice girls trip. The hosts were super nice. We called once for restaurant and more shopping suggestions. They definitely helped us out.The house was very clean and extremely organized. There is plenty of space. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. He hosts live just around the corner. I would definitely stay here again."

"Place was great and everyone was super nice! The only thing that wasn’t excellent was going down for morning coffee and the two choices were “light roast” or “decaf” 😳 That shock was compounded by them only offering the two least popular sweeteners. Not a pink or blue packet to be found. My brain short circuited. I just stood there in shock, lol. But really, when I say the staff was nice I mean from the front desk to a maintenance person we happened upon… so, so nice. Would definitely recommend!"
