"Beautiful location walking distance to citadelle and old town Besançon near breathtaking views and the gorgeous walking path along the river. The hotel had an eclectic and charming lobby/ lounge. Our room was on the ground floor of an annex type building. It was clean and simple. There is no air conditioning which was not a problem for us in early June but might be in mid summer. There is very limited parking on property and we had to find street parking which was not an easy feat - the staff...

"The staff were polite and very helpful. The room was clean but the elevator was scary - rickety, wobbly and some very strange noises. The drain in the shower had a dodgey odour. The heating worked well and it’s a safe place to stay. "

"The hotel is in a non-walkable area to the city center, the public transportation from this place is not frequent. When I arrived to my room, there was a worm in my room and I have to clean it by myself because there was no cleaning service at the hotel on Sunday night when I arrived. I ordered a burger, I received it without a meat inside. They offered me the meat after in a dish to add it. "We had a great stay here! The owner is so nice and welcoming! If back in area we would definitely book again. Our children so enjoyed feeding the horses carrots and petting the cows at the end of the road. There just wasn't enough time to enjoy the kayaks on the river. It's a great home! Thank you!"
