Welcome to The Main Haven at Hilltop Haven of Spicewood, Texas.

Our "Main Haven" is a private home tucked away on a true mountain top surrounded by the flora and fauna of the hill country. Rest quietly in our freshly remodeled, Mid- Century Modern style home with open floor plan. The chef style kitchen showcases double ovens, and ample cooking supplies which provides for family dining and entertaining. Play amongst the constant breezes or relax in the pool or the heatable hot tub. Watch the sunset with deer and enjoy nights with the fireflies while roasting marshmallows and making smores, cooking on the grill or smoker or, enjoying the conversation pit with your friends watching sports on the outdoor TV with surround sound; or take a quick approximately 1minute and a half drive to drop your boat into Lake Travis either at Siesta Shores Marina or approximately five minutes to Briar Cliff Marina. Area is surrounded by many five star restaurants! And El Gaucho Winery and Argentinian Chef is just across the street ! Tons of hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, Texas Sailing; Reimer Ranch, Krause Springs, Hamilton Pool , Pedernales Park, Pace Bend Park. Close to spa resorts or a complimentary spa table should you chose to grab your own massage therapist while on property. Or approximately 35-45 minutes to downtown Austin. There is separate "tiny home" for a group member that wants complete privacy which sleeps 2-3 people also available separately, queen size bed in primary bedroom , with a living , kitchen, bath and small loft.

Hill Country Hideout Heaven!
The Main Haven delivered more than expected. The accommodations were modern and comfortable. The kitchen is so well appointed and made our meals all the more enjoyable. The pool was pristine and delightfully refreshing, and the hot tub was very relaxing. The daytime views are only rivaled by the nighttime sky. The host and their family were available instantly to answer questions. We are working on booking this property again as soon as we can. Excellent stay.

Secluded and quiet. Kitchen has everything. Pool and hot tub are a nice feature.. Host was easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions. I would stay again anytime we are in the area.

This house looked amazing online, but truly even better than expected. I stayed with my two small kids, and then we had a few friends over to swim & celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed the pool, the views and all the outdoor spaces. I loved the kitchen! I’ve stayed at many a vacation homes, and as someone who cooks, this was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen. The house had all the little details, amenities and even beyond the kitchen was thoroughly stocked. Loved how easy the speaker set up was to use. From the moment we walked in, it was just the perfect set up for both family and friends. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The pictures truly don't give this place justice, it was beautiful. The pool and hot tub were a major highlight but the house came stacked with everything we could possibly need! The hostess was incredibly easy to work with and responded immediately. A wonderful stress free experience! I would highly recommend!

I had a super fun weekend with my friends at this house, and it was better than expected! There are surround sound speakers at the pool area, at the fire pit (which wasn't needed for our summer jam), and inside the home. The house was very clean, and we loved that there were plenty of glasses, dishware, etc. to prepare food and drinks. The property manager was helpful, but we didn't need to reach out much since the house was great. I would definitely rent this house again if/when I feel the need to have a fun pool party.

Perfect Quite Getaway
Our stay at Main Haven was wonderful. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults. The pool was just what we needed on a hot afternoon day. Loved how secluded the house felt. It was our first time in Spicewood and loved everything we did. Haven't stopped telling family and friends about it, and already looking at booking Main Haven for another trip.

Relaxation Haven
Our stay was perfection! The house is beautiful and unique with every detail thought through. The pool was clean, cool and so relaxing with a beautiful view of the Hill Country. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked and there were plenty of games and pool supplies (floats, noodles, pool towels) to go around. We went across the street to El Gaucho winery one night and felt like we had stepped overseas…the vibe was relaxed and the wine and food were wonderful! We would love to book again soon and would highly recommend a stay at the Hilltop Haven!

Incredible Hill Country Stay
Our weekend stay at the main house at Hilltop Haven was incredible. This was the absolute perfect location for seven of our friends to get together and enjoy each other's company, the sunshine, great food, and some time outside of the city. The house itself was spacious, modern, bright, and inviting. The large hill the house sits on gives you picturesque views of the surrounding hill country, especially from the large patio and pool deck. Along with the views, our guests all appreciated how private and peaceful the property felt. The salt water pool and spa were spotless. I knew the smaller house down the hill was booked by different guests the weekend of our stay, but all our friends staying in the main house did not even notice we were technically "sharing" the property - we did not see or hear them once (the main house is a significant distance up the hill and lots of trees are between the two). We spent the majority of our time lounging in or around the pool/hot tub, watching baseball on the large outdoor couch on the patio just next to the pool, and playing cornhole and talking as someone grilled. The bluetooth speakers throughout the house and facing the pool area really added to the experience. We also enjoyed the bar seats across from the range, the large dining room table, and the comfortable living room couch. The bedrooms were all unique with comfortable beds and nice linens. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, utensils, and so much more. We loved having two ovens, a large gas range, sharp knives, a weber grill, and even a smoker at our disposal. We brought a ton of the needed supplies, but if we had only brought groceries we would have been completely fine with everything provided at the haven. Pros: Easy to find - sign at end of driveway Private and quiet Not far from Austin (40 minutes from the eastside) Great beds and linens (even pool towels) World class kitchen Beautiful bathrooms with rain showers Corn hole, ping pong table, and pool basketball hoop Sonos speakers throughout Helpful host who is available to answer questions Cons: I honestly can not think of a single one. Our friends all raved about this property. I hope someone found this review helpful! To the host - thank you for having us and hopefully we can book at hilltop haven again!!!

Just what we were looking for!
This house was absolutely perfect and exceeded our needs with the all the little touches included. We were a bachelorette crew of 8 and split our time between Lake Travis and Austin. It wasn’t too far from either (we rented a car) and the pool area made is so easy to relax between activities. Matthew was so helpful if questions arose! The main spaces fit us all well, just be ready to share bathroom use with everyone. Make sure to check out 5Soul Winery and play pickball, it’s a close drive! Highly recommend for a lowkey bachelorette group.

The Main Haven is such a well-done and thoughtful space…beautiful, cozy and functional. Mid century modern, welcoming & inviting with everything you need upon arrival. From day to day essentials to tons of games & books for kids (and adults), to available bird seed and deer feed (a nice touch) in addition to the swings & hammocks to take in all of nature- Main Haven has it all. We loved the heated pool and hot tub, grilling out and having meals el fresco. Be sure to check out the Argentinian winery across the street (a gem!) that serves great wine and food options, has the friendliest staff and is kid enthusiast- win/win/win!! The Main Haven is housed amidst a beautiful landscape and is close to the Briarcliff Marina (minutes away) if you’d like to enjoy some quality time on the water. Can’t say enough great things about the responsive answers to questions from owner & property manager that made our stay seamless! Great memories made at the Main Haven! Be sure you have a vehicle that can climb a solid hill, be prepared to enjoy yourself to the fullest and brace yourself, as you’ll have to leave at some point! I know we can’t wait to return!
