This recently updated 3 BR Cottage is just a few steps from the water on the South Shore of Lake Travis and one of the best swimming coves on all of Lake Travis! Like hiking, paddle boarding, BBQing, nature watching? There's no shortage of things to see or do. Summer is the perfect time to be at the lake!

****As of October 2024, there is no watercraft access to the boat dock due to low lake levels.****

+++ ABOUT THE HOUSE +++
- Front Bedroom: 2 Queen beds, private entrance from back deck, lots of natural light, separate from other 2 bedrooms
- Master Bedroom: King bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, deep soaker tub (with beautiful view of lake), private entrance to back deck, through bathroom
- 3rd Bedroom: Twin-over-Full bunkbed, smart TV, and private access to back deck
- 2nd full bathroom with walk-in shower, and Full-Size washer & dryer
- kitchen has new appliances and bar-seating, opens to Livingroom
- Large, open living room with wall-mounted smart TV
- Back Covered private patio has outdoor seating, gas grill, and views to write home about!
-Access to a common area (that is shared with one other rental property "the Cabin" that can be rented with the Cottage if you are traveling in a large group)
Common area includes:
-Large yard with fire pit, cowboy pool and hammock.
-Access to 100 feet of Lake Travis shoreline, including boat dock that is loaded with lake toys,(don't forget your fishing poles)!

Walking distance to the Sundancer Grill for a meal on the water!

Rental of the Cottage includes a boat slip, 2 parking spaces (additional street parking close-by), private patio or deck, and access to the common grounds and boat dock, which is a great way to meet new people during your stay. Common area includes: large fire pit, cowboy pool, hammock, dock loaded with lake toys, floats, etc.

The Cottage is located on Stewart Cove, just outside of Lakeway, 20 miles from downtown Austin. Lakeway provides something for everyone - Whether you're looking for a relaxing day at the spa, a day of shopping, visiting some of the local wineries and/or breweries, playing a round of golf, or spending a day on the lake, you'll have it all at your fingertips!

If you are looking to bring a boat, we highly suggest checking the lake levels through the LCRA for Lake Travis (Mansfield). Boat Ramps are open when the level is below 679' MSL (mean sea level) and Boat Parking is open when lake levels are below 675' MSL.

Fun times on lake Travis.
We had a awesome time. The only thing I can say is that the property management need to stay on top of the listing. We were told we could not put the boat in the boat slip cause the water was to low. And if we could have canceled we would have. But we were told it was to late to cancel. But after we did some calling around and and almost paid 300 for a boat slip at the Mariana we found out that there was plenty of water to put our boat in the boat slip at the rental place.

Great weekend getaway
Loved that the Cottage was right on Lake Travis. House was nice... nothing fancy, but home was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked. Our favorite part(s) were definitely the back patio and the great dock. Met a few others while we were there since the dock is shared by a few properties and there are some common grounds. We enjoyed making new friends and absolutely loved the cove. Kids had a great time and we'll be back next year.

The Cottage
The house was nice and had everything we needed for our stay. My husband loved having the boat dock and how easy it was to get in and out with the boat and to be able to hang around right there. I only have 2 suggestions for this house. The bathroom windows need to be covered with something. Driving in from the store i realized you can see straight into the bathroom. Not good. Secondly, since you allow animals here, the blanket that lays over the couch needs to be washed. I used it to cover with while watching tv and immediately had to get a zyrtec bcz my eyes were itching like crazy. So i would say have all loose blankets washed after people that come with animals stay there. But other than that everything was great. Idk who the gentleman is that is around there all the time, but he was very friendly and helpful.

Great spot - right on lake travis
Stayed here over the summer. Nothing super-fancy about the home itself (it was clean and comfortable), but the location was perfect! This home was one of 4-5 owned by the same person. All properties sit at the back of a culdesac and have direct access to Lake Travis and an incredible swimming/boat dock. The dock is used by all property-guests, as stated in the listing, and there is some 'shared space' throughout the grounds, but we still had plenty of privacy. Home had everything we needed for a very enjoyable weekend.
