3,400sf home on 1.5 acre wooded lot with two small creeks. New 7-seat HOT TUB! Private pool with waterfalls and large decks and patios. Newly renovated kitchen anchors this spacious home in the Lake Hills community, just 20 minutes from downtown Austin. High-speed wifi (500mbs) and Sonos speakers. Very large master bedroom (king) with attached bathroom suite (including bidet and large shower); huge open concept kitchen/living/dining room; two additional bedrooms (both queens); game room with 60" TV and custom queen Murphy bed; two twin mattresses (not beds, just mattresses) in office (bunk bed pending but not arrived yet); gas fireplace in living room; huge decks and patios; playscape. Enjoy cooking out by the pool on the propane grill!

This is our actual home, so it is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. We are making it available for you while we are away. Come and enjoy!
N.B.: our pool is not heated. Pool temperature is subject to local, recent ambient temperatures. DOG OWNERS: our yard is not fenced. We are a secluded, wooded property with roaming deer.

Only several blocks away is a newly opened Patrizi's restaurant/bar with incredible Italian food and craft cocktails! Just down the street on Cuernavaca is an awesome local coffee shop and breakfast/lunch kitchen, The Civil Goat. Enjoy!

Downtown Austin is 15-20 minutes away, but major grocery stores, bars and restaurants are only 11 minutes away in either direction (either towards Austin or away).

Lovely neighborhood and fantastic house
We had a large family group staying here for the weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. The house is very spacious but our favorite part was the backyard. There was so much room for the kids to play and for us all to relax. We loved the big open kitchen as well for cooking family meals and time together.

The Great Wooded Escape
Absolutely beautiful property. The pool and surrounding area is fantastic. The house is a PERFECT set up for two groups/families traveling together. The community space is in the middle, with sleeping spaces on opposite sides of the house. Everything worked, which almost never happens in a VRBO. I would absolutely recommend it and rent again.

Wooded Escape
This property was perfect for a family staycation. The backyard on this home was so amazing. The pool with waterfalls was fun and relaxing. Plenty of shelves in the pool to sit and enjoy the view and sounds. The hot tub was a great way to end your day with the super jets :) . The home was clean and well stocked. The owner is incredibly responsive and all of the touches they have made to make you comfortable are evident. We even saw a HUGE deer in the backyard. We will be back.

Wonderful property, loved the backyard space. Home was very comfortable. Very nice to have a well stocked kitchen with pots/pans etc. plenty of glasses. Would definitely stay at this home again.

3 Generations made great memories here!
The house and outdoor amenities did not disappoint. We felt like we had our own private resort and our 10&14 year old kids got all their energy out while the parents and grandparents hung out, feeling the vacation vibes. Meals were fun and easy, we all loved sitting at the giant kitchen island and eating together. The beds were super comfortable and we liked the bedroom layouts, not on top of each other and all on the same floor. The star gazing was amazing and the natural setting contributed to the feeling of really getting away even though you are actually pretty close to all the ATX spots. We will be back for sure!

Amazing vacation home
We absolutely loved our stay. The home is even better than the pictures which usually is not the case. Every detail is thought out and everything is high quality. The beds are so comfortable, there are plenty of towels, and blankets and it felt like a true vacation. The outside area is so fun. The hosts are very communicative and hospitable and we hope to come back soon! I definitely recommend this spot.

Michael's place is amazing, slept the 6 of my group very comfortably, was clean, and has every amenity. The backyard might have been the best part of our trip. We came out to explore Austin but we ended up spending the majority of our time just enjoying the house! Michael himself was a very responsive host. Overall great experience.

Great Family Getaway!!
This house was AMAZING!!! We celebrated our triplets birthday and graduation in this beautiful spacious home!! It was clean and SO WELL STOCKED with serving dishes and barware!! The pool, hot tub and patio areas were so fun and spacious as well!! The beds were so comfortable and it very comfortably slept up to 10 people with enough bathrooms for everyone to spread out. The owner, Michael, was very attentive and quick to respond to anything we needed!! The only reason I gave the location and neighborhood a 4 rating is that you have to drive through a short kind of run down area of properties, but once you hit the cul-de-sac, the surrounding homes are lovely and this property is AMAZING! We hope to rent again during football season with friends or maybe a family holiday!!! We made some great family memories in this home!!

Well stocked property w pretty much everything you need. 5 separate spaces for sleeping which was great for our 6 adult 3 kid gathering. Everyone was able to have their own space. Backyard and pool were awesome! Private setting outside. Thanks again to Michael for being a great host.

We loved the amazing pool and their pool toys! The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were able to spend quality time with family and friends while being able to spread out and not feel cramped. We also saw deer almost every morning when they stopped by to eat grass in the backyard. We definitely recommend booking this wonderful property. Thank you to the Austin family for allowing us to stay at their house!

WONDERFUL Getaway with pool and playground!
This was the perfect home to celebrate our small family reunion this April weekend! It's close to town, but we had a better time swimming, using the water slide, playing on the playscape and jumping on the trampoline! There was plenty of space for all the family members, a nice big kitchen and living area where we could catch up and enjoy meals together and the owner was super helpful and friendly! The house was spacious with plenty of sleeping areas. Plenty of parking. and just an overall great place for hanging out! Definitely a place we'd love to book again!

Gorgeous Property and Convenient Location
Our family visited Austin to get some summer out of our system before school started. We had plans to visit so many places but the house and pool were so comfortable and relaxing we almost never left. The house is lovely. There was some evidence of construction going on in the general area, which concerned me, but we didn’t hear or see anyone we didn’t invite. This listing is an enormous bargain for the amenities and location. Everyone was happy - even the teenagers.

The backyard of your dreams
We booked this beautiful property for a mini family reunion/birthday celebration. My daughter was turning 3 and my dad was also celebrating his birthday. I can’t begin to describe how impressed we all were with this property. First of all the pool, water slide, hot tub, play structure and fire pit in the backyard were used non-stop and such a bonus. The house itself has a gorgeous kitchen with huge island and everything you need to cook and more. The beds and sheets were not what you normally find in rentals-they were high quality and super comfortable. We enjoyed music on the Sonos speakers and saw deer in the backyard. Location was a little outside of the city but still close to everything you need. Our host was very responsive as well to our questions and let us check in early. We hope we get the chance to stay here again.
