We only stayed in Austin for 3 days and this place was perfect for us. Big enough for family of 5 and located in a quiet residential neighborhood close enough to pretty much everything.
Let me start off with saying that we were looking for a place to stay that was relatively close to Zilker park for Austin City Limits that was also affordable and this was the best option. That being said, you get what you pay for. The mattresses were not very great (I had slept on one of the spring ones on Friday night and had really awful back pain on Saturday that affected my ability to enjoy the festival) and another friend who slept on another mattress also shared that she did not sleep well due to how uncomfortable the mattress was. There were a lot of spiderwebs inside and the couch was kinda gross. The bathroom and kitchen were grimy, drawers were gross on the inside, stuff on the sink in the kitchen. The mirror in the bathroom had some stuff on it that made it hard to see my reflection. Also there is no soundproofing - I could hear people's conversation in the other room even when there were multiple doors closed in between. The host was very responsive which was nice and helpful. It's good for people on a budget but it is not super fancy/nice and it's important to be realistic on the quality of it.
