Barton (3 Acre-Freshwater) Springs is just ACROSS THE STREET. LADYBIRD LAKE 10 mile hike and bike trail around the lake is right here for you. Practically at your doorstep HAVE IT ALL!! SWIM, CANOE, HIKE & EXPLORE. One of our recent guests told us this property reminded her of an "open air Costa Rican experience ." Another lovely guest said it reminded her of their vacation home in Roatan... I had to look that up.... what a compliment!!! If you are not familiar with Austin, this property and location requires a HUGE FUN introduction… 😊 in a second you’ll see why. While we do not have a private pool or a beach. We do have something so UNUSUAL, TRULY SPECTACULAR and special we would love the opportunity for us to introduce you to BARTON SPRINGS Pool, Ladybird Lake, Zilker Park and its potential for you. We also have easy access to miles of Greenbelt hikes.

Briefly, Zilker Park is 358 acres of gorgeous center city park land and within it lies Barton Springs Pool which is fondly described as the crown jewels of Austin -The pool itself measures a whopping 3 ACRES in size, and is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees, ideal for year-round swimming. In addition to Barton Springs Pool, this property has immediate access all of Zilker Park and 10 miles of hike and bike trail surrounding the lake. Since we are so close to the park and downtown a great option would be to have bicycles delivered to you and perhaps do a guided tour. This can be set up by you through Mike's Bikes and Tours. SO - MUCH - FUN!!!
