Rooftop Retreat and Downtown Views - 5th St Loft!

Located in the heart of Downtown Austin, this 2500 square foot loft is the ideal way to experience all that Austin has to offer! Spend the day exploring the city or relaxing on the rooftop deck, then walk right over to the iconic bars of 6th Street for a night out! 

The open, U-shaped layout provides plenty of space and privacy. Upon entering the loft, you are greeted by a quiet, in-home workspace which is perfect for business travelers. Head down the hallway and past Bathroom 1, with double vanities and an XL Jacuzzi Bathtub, to find Bedroom 1 on the left. A plush, Queen size Murphy bed allows guests to maximize floor space during the day. At night, a black-out curtain provides additional privacy for these guests.

Curl up with a good book on one of the living area's many couches or to watch your favorite film on the 55" Flat Screen TV. This community area also houses the kitchen, which is fully stocked with cooking and serving supplies. Enjoy a business lunch meeting, or delicious family dinner, at the 6 person dining table in the back hallway. Bathroom 2, also with double vanities and a walk-in shower, can be found off of the back hallway. Just around the corner is Bedroom 2 which features a Queen size bed and plenty of closet space for long-term stays!

Grab a glass of wine and head up the staircase to find a sweeping rooftop deck. Relax as you enjoy the sunset overlooking the downtown skyline, and when you're ready for a night out on the town, you are literally steps away from Austin's most popular bars - like Handlebar just across the street!

UK comes to Austin
My brothers and I recently went on a tour of America, and we found this lovely place outside of 6th street. Check-in was EASY Location was fantastic The place was clean, open, tons of natural lighting and an it had an AMAZING rooftop patio. Beds and sofas were comfy, they had a large TV so we could watch the game, Go 49ers!, Great place, we loved it, and would love to stay again!

Property Misrepresented
(Email sent to manager received no response) Hello, We are finishing up our stay and will be leaving early tomorrow morning. Before we leave, I wanted to address several issues directly with you rather than leaving a negative review. I hope this provides you with an opportunity to address these concerns and improve in the future. Firstly, the photos posted of the property are quite misleading and should be updated. We were unable to use the deck because the furniture was in disarray, with mold and rips on multiple cushions. The railing was severely damaged, and there was standing water and garbage covering the walkways. Secondly, it seems there was no prior housekeeping done, as one of the couches had bird feathers and feces on the cushions, and was generally filthy upon our arrival, despite there being no bird in the unit. Thirdly, during our stay, we encountered more than a dozen water bugs in the kitchen/dining area. Additionally, we couldn't use the dishwasher due to standing water and a foul odor emanating from it. Lastly, and most importantly, the Murphy bed is infested with bed bugs. There are blood stains and excrement on the sheets, mattress, and pillows, indicating bedbugs, as well as a lack of preparation by housekeeping. Unfortunately, we only discovered this on Sunday morning after our Saturday night guest woke up with multiple bites on their arm, hand, and stomach. As a result, two of our guests had to incur additional costs for hotel rooms (limit reached)

Austin Half Marathon Weekend
The rooftop deck, beautiful, spacious condo and great location were the top reasons we chose the DT Loft and it did not disappoint. We were able to walk to the starting line and then all around downtown. Convenient shopping. Everyone said they loved it.

This apartment was exactly as advertised. Basically a 3 minute walk to the 6th street party area. Close enough to be convenient, but far enough that the noise level was not a factor. There is a liquor/beer store right below to pick up drinks as needed. A lot of food with-in walking distance. There are two queen beds, one in a separate bedroom and the other near the living room with a curtain to block it off. Also has two full - very large bathrooms, one has a Jacuzzi tub/shower combo. Kitchen was nice and has the basics you would need for a few days, glasses, plates, cookware... The living room area is HUGE. Two separate seating areas that can easily each hold 8-10 people hanging out. The private rooftop was also nice, we spent some time up there during the day, great views and plenty of space. Overall this apartment was perfect for our weekend getaway, highly recommended!

Great Space!
We were in town for Conference. This location was a super close walk to the Austin Convention Center and to everything else. We walked everywhere. The only downside was the homeless in the area. You are on the second floor so it can get loud. The property manager was very attentive and responded to any inquiry I had. The property itself was very nice.

10K weekend
Three of us who used to live in Austin, went to UT and worked for some time in Austin come every year to hang out with friends and "run" the 10K. Aott was perfect, very spacious and comfortable with all amenities. We would prefer to have a real 3rd bed rather than the sofa bed. Perhaps another murphy bed with black-out curtains. Plan to book again

We were looking for a spacious well located apartment for 6 of us. This apartment exceed our expecations. Its location is just 1 block away from 6th Street where there is a lot of nighlife activity and the apartment was even better than what it looks in pictures. The only "but" comment would be that it is not a suitable apartment for families or couples who may need privacy as there is technically just 1 room, although there are curtains for the murphy bed.

Fabulous time in Downtown Austin!
This loft is super cool and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We stayed with our family, including two kids under 12. We all loved it! Everything was super clean and they had some things stocked that we forgot to pick up at the store which was nice. The loft is within walking distance to everything and close to the airport as well. It's a bit noisy at night, but that's to be expected given the location. Our only complaint was that the coffee maker took a Master's Degree and a couple YouTube videos to figure out how to work. I still don't think we got it right. Either way, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, enjoyed rooftop deck, had all the amenities needed. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is the “ second bedroom” was not really a bedroom. It was behind a privacy curtain. It made for some uncomfortable times being away with another couple. Overall great experience.
