Drought conditions will affect the water levels for this property so please know that the pictures in the listing may not reflect the true level of water during your stay. We are not able to give refunds or cancellations due to low water levels.
Due to the drought there is no longer a 'lake view' from the villa.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Dock details: Lake Travis is not a constant level lake.

As of May 24, 2018 the “Boat Ramp” at the Island will be closed till further notice. The water levels have dropped due to the lack of rain making it a danger to launch.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Overall The Island was a great getaway and very relaxing. Loved seeing the deer everywhere!! The only restaurant on site is not very reliable so be sure to have a back up plan for your meals.

Place Was Dirty!
Please note this is not the date I stayed. This reservation was cancelled because of the condition of the place when I stayed in June 2022. This place was in need of a deep cleaning.. The photos were deceptive. When I reported this the response was that was not important. Linens for couch was balled up dirty in the closet. Window and window seals were dirty. Rugs were dirty. Ceilings were filled with cobwebs. The instruction were for us to put linen in the washing machine before leaving. I also paid $25 for them to search for lost item. Never heard from the company. I will never use Verbo again nor recommend it. I don't like giving poor reviews but people need to be aware of this situation. its condition is a health hazard. Sydney D.

This property has a lot of potential. I was extremely upset that i could not receive the code to enter the gate until 4:20pm and had to call and get it, it was never sent to me. No one was there before us and i arrived at 330pm. It is too hot to make people wait outside gor no reason. It was pet friendly which was a draw for us.. However, it was not near a convenient dog walking area and you could tell previous renters just let their animals ruin the carpet in the bedroom. It was filthy. There was animal hair on the couch and the floor was not clean. The bed was surprisingly nice and the overall decor was nice. There were very few restaurants or stores in the immediate area so lots of driving.

Good Resort But Remote
The condo and the resort was good but the closest convenience store was three miles away on a winding road. Closest town was approximately seven miles away so getting breakfast or lunch is an issue. Their is a restaurant on site which is opened for dinner on the weekends but the menu is somewhat limited and the staff was well below standards and at time rude. They were supposed to email you gate code but they did so, suggest phoning the property before you leave in order to gain access. Lastly, the pool in area 3 was like taking a bath, really warm and did realize there was access to the lake until the day we left. If you bring all your own food and plan on staying at the resort the whole time, it is a good place to stay.

Nice place, awesome balcony
Nice stay (7 days), but a couple of things: First, the balcony is amazing. Great covered and open views of Lake Travis and the Hill Country. Really enjoyed that. Also like the layout that separates the bathroom from the master bedroom and the ceiling fans in every room. The condo met all of our needs, and we plan to stay here again, but we would have appreciated more than two washcloths, salt in the kitchen, and a good carpet scrub in the master. Also, (and this is squarely directed at the cleaning crew) please sweep the hard surface floors. They were littered with crusties, but not something a simple sweep/mop would not have remedied. Over all, recommended. :-)

Chris was great and Vacasa is great. Property was run down, front door was broken and would not lock when we left the place the first 2 days. Bedroom rug was stained. No glasses in the unit other then coffee cups.

Lovely Weekend Getaway
Property was as described with lovely views of the water making for a very restful weekend getaway. Overall the property is very quiet and a nice location! The unit itself was clean (no pet smells despite allowing pets which is always nice), comfortable couches and bed and the best part was the nice patio and furniture to enjoy the fall weather!

I just stayed here and it was great. There was one review that listed a few problems. Everything listed in that review has been addressed. The entertainment system works fine, the cushions on the outside furniture are comfortable and have zero rips or tears and the PINS provided to enter the property/condo were correct. The property manager contacted me via text the day of my stay and provided everything I needed to access the property. During my stay the property manager was available if I needed anything. This place is quiet and located on the lake with a lake view. If you want to visit Austin it is a 30 to 40 minuet drive. The only issues I had was the main refrigerator was not working properly, but there was a mini refrigerator in the condo. I was not informed of this issue. However, the property manager had a repairman come out to look at the main refrigerator and the company managing the property (VACASA) provided me a partial refund for my inconvenience. Overall I give this property, the property manager and VACASA a 5 star rating. I would stay here again. The outside patio/view alone make this a great place to stay and the property manager and VACASA were great to deal with making this a very pleasurable vacation for me and my family.

Wonderful Girls Trip
We stayed for three nights. The condo was comfortable, clean, and everything we needed including pool floats! The patio offered a gorgeous view of the lake. The pool was only a few steps away. We loved watching the sunset while soaking in the hot tub. We enjoyed dinner and karaoke at Lyleen's on Thursday. The food wasn't so great, but we danced and enjoyed the fun atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful, we even found a waterfall next to the viewing deck. Overall the trip was amazing, we will definitely be back! My only suggestion would be to add more toliet paper and supply sponges for dish washing.

Property lay out was confusing. Hard to find indoor pool and fitness room. A map would have been helpful. Directions for using TV would also have been helpful as set up is very different from what we have at home.
