Cliffside Beauty Overlooks River

Two story generous spaces and private beds and baths offered great rest and quiet nights. Comfy beds and great views off of decks. Well equipped kitchen made meals easy to prepare.

Book this property!!

The views are STUNNING! Make a cup of coffee (bring your own Kuerig pods), and sit out on the deck. Inhale the fresh air and beautiful views!! Very clean. Very lovely home. Saw some deer making their way thru the brush. The only bad thing is I have to leave and go back to cold, flat Nebraska!!

We found the reviews to be accurate. If you’re wanting a highly stylish home this is not, but it is fun, clean as a whistle and the view seen from cute updates kitchen, living and from the deck was a hit for us. Modest but nice Table & chairs on deck and 2 chair pad chairs. We would stay again.

Relaxing and Cozy

Our group had an amazing time at this property. We were close to restaurants, BBQ food trucks, grocery stores, gift shops, hiking trails, Lake Austin, and Lake Travis. We spent several nights inside playing games, watching TV, cooking dinner and enjoying the view. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We felt very at home and would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Lovely Little Lake House

This is an absolutely lovely lake house. We loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had access to everything we needed, supplied dishes, towels, paper products, etc. It was clean and in good order. If we stay in that area again, we've already decided to try to rent it again.

Cozy home. The kitchen is really large great for cooking at the house. Views from decks are amazing. Easy to find. I did have to reach out to property manager and they were very nice and responded immediately.

Breathtaking view from the Balcony

Everything about this property was amazing. It was clean, spacious and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We spent a lot of time on the large upper balcony which had a beautiful view of the Colorado River. and hills. Our family of 5 stayed here for 5 days in order to attend a wedding at Vintage Villas on Lake Travis which was a 6 minute drive away.

Enjoyed the views

The place was super clean and pleasant to decompress after my daughter's wedding. The only complaint is half the outlets didn't work. Especially the outside deck for the lights and the lighting outside. Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Great views!

Views from top deck were exceptional! First time experiencing the lakes and rivers around Austin. Drive into property is a little adventure, with some winding and steep climbs. Husband enjoyed it! Property was pet friendly and allowed for a small dog we brought. There are stairs, to climb inside and outside, just fyi for older folks or small kids. The wildlife was also very vocal, fun to hear. Over all a good stay!

A clean hidden gem

You've got to know that this property is exactly as described and so. Very. Clean! It was a welcoming sight. The view into the valley is just beautiful. I enjoyed a wonderful morning just being quiet and mindful of birds and the water below. There is a queen sized bed on the first level with a bathroom across the foyer. Also a large kitchen with the necessities. Bring your own coffee, sweetener and creamer. On the second level down stairs, there is the washer and dryer and 2 more bedrooms with a queen and full sized beds. The downstairs bathroom has a double vanity and hair dryer. Whereas there are plenty of clean hand towels and body towels, there were no wash cloths. There is an iron but no working ironing board. Bring shampoo, conditioner and body wash as what was provided were almost depleted when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again as we were able to be in Lakeway directly.

Easy place to feel at home

We recently visited this comfy spot when visiting relatives in Austin. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the owner was receptive and communicative. One thing that may be an issue for some but worked for us is bed size. Two of the beds are doubles and one is a queen. The drive in is a bit narrow and curvy but the reward is the awesome view from the great deck. We'd stay again if we find ourselves in Austin, TX!

Review of Feather Trail

Yard was uncared for, no propane for bbq grill, TV instructions in book on coffee table does not match working the TV. Could not get TV to work the 2 days we were there and one of the days was inclement weather and not much we could do outside. The closets were locked and no room to really hang clothes in downstairs rooms. old trailer in driveway. blinds in upstairs room, broken, mirror in master bathroom cracked, tape on ceiling of living room coming off and ceiling cracking. Property overall just needs some tlc.

The house was very quaint with eclectic decor. The kitchen had everything needed however the knives were very dull. The view was fantastic. The property itself needed quite a bit of maintenance. Trees and shrubbery were overgrown. Rails on stairways were loose and shaky. Carpet on stairs was dirty and worn. Killed a bunch of large black ants and one very large scorpion inside the house. Overall it was a pleasant relaxing stay but won’t be staying there again for the price.
