Annabella’s Studio is a newly renovated Servant’s Quarters/Art Studio, recently moved from Woodbine Mansion down the street. Exquisitely decorated with beautiful furnishings, including art from many fabulous local artists. Pamper yourself and stay in this beautiful space full of history that is represented in each detail. Annabella has quite a story to tell. Come and experience her for yourself!
Sit on one of the two porches and enjoy your antique fenced yard, next to our Victorian House.
The space
Sparkling clean and sanitized. Within walking distance to quaint downtown Round Rock bars/restaurants, library, spa, trails, and parks. Short drive to Austin. Day trips to the Texas Hill Country and Waco. You won’t want to leave your beautiful, romantic cottage though, because it has everything you need including antique bricked walkways, beautiful yard, glamorous large shower, bicycle sink, comfortable bed and sofa, SMEG fridge, stained glass windows, WiFi, and large tv with basic cable. Whitby and I drop warm, world famous Round Rock donuts on the porch rocker, on the first morning of your stay. Enjoy eating them, as you rock, and drink Coffee from your Keurig. Annabella’s is most comfortably suited for one or two guests, but sleeps four, if needed.
Guest access
There are two gates and antique bricked walkways leading to Annabella’s Studio from the alley off of Black Street. Either may be used. The first gate (the wooden butterfly gate) enters into a space shared by Whitby, a friendly Goldendoodle. He is usually inside the house. The second antique iron gate entrance leads to Annabella’s private gated yard.
Other things to note
We enjoy the occasional sound of a nearby train, and it is now designated as a quiet zone. You are going to love the peaceful and creative energy of Annabella’s Studio! We are looking forward to opening this lovely space to you! Bicycles may be available upon request in advance.
We have another Airbnb across the street if you are in need of another place to stay close by. The Carriage House is historic, as well, as it belonged to a nearby mansion that is no longer there.
Check out this video inside of Annabella’s Studio. The outside is even more peaceful and beautiful!
