This 3-bedroom, 2-bath Hill Country home, affectionately called Tawnya's Secret Hideaway is located in Dripping Springs, Gateway to the Hill Country and also known as the Wedding Capitol of Texas! With 38 wedding venues nearby, this is the perfect home to meet your needs if visiting for the purpose of a wedding. It is immaculately clean, spacious, perfectly located and able to accommodate several additional friends or family members. Strategically located between Austin and Dripping Springs, just 2 blocks off the main highway for quick and easy access, but still secluded for our guest’s peace and privacy, with an easy drive to Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels, antique shopping Wimberley and sightseeing in San Antonio.

We are surrounded by vineyards, breweries, distilleries and wedding venues.

After a day spent in the great outdoors, head to The Barber Shop for a Texas craft beer at a place that treats everyone like locals. Enjoy an evening of dancing at the Mercer Street Dance Hall, mere walking distance from the Barber Shop Brewery.

Follow your afternoon out with a night of stargazing and relaxation with a glass of wine on the back deck overlooking the unbroken 20 mile view of the Texas Hill Country. Fire up the gas grill for some outdoor cooking or enjoy making s'mores in the rock fire pit. Both children and adult guest love the many swings located throughout Hideaway's fully fenced backyard. Our hot tub has been replaced with a clean sandbox for our younger guests enjoyment!

INSIDE THE HOUSE

The home’s main living area features a wood-beamed ceiling. Comfortable, stylish and light-filled, everyone enjoys spending time in this cozy and unique space.

The living area opens to the dining area, with table space for 6. Another 3 can sit at the breakfast bar in the fully stocked, newly remodeled kitchen with coffee and wine stations.

The 3 bedrooms include one king-sized master bedroom and 2 queen-sized guest bedrooms. A fold-out couch in the living area sleeps 2 more for a max occupancy of 8 guests. There is an incredible master suite upstairs, offering maximum privacy and an enhanced, incredible view of the Texas Hill Country!

The house was perfect for a girls weekend, the view from the balcony was fabulous, the house was well equipped with everything we needed! The communication with the owner was great and he recommended a good restaurant for dinner also! A great place for a family also, very kid friendly!

This property is understated on how beautiful the views are and the pictures don’t do it justice. This is a must rent property for a family of 7 or less. All I can say is PERFECT.

Perfect Stay
We had a lovely stay at Tawnya's Hideaway. It was exactly as described and was the perfect Dripping Springs location. We were in town to attend a graduation and had 4 adults stay with plenty of room. The swing in the back yard overlooking Texas Hill country was the perfect spot for morning coffee. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family.

Great Property and Location
My husband and I stayed from Wednesday-Sunday. We loved the location and the property as well. It was very peaceful. Not too far from other little towns you might want to visit like Fredericksburg and Wimberley. We got to see some deer on the property. We will definitely be back. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Nieces Graduation
My daughters and I flew in for my niece's graduation. The house was close to everything but also very quiet and secluded. We enjoyed the house very much it was everything as advertised. The deck/patio was amazing! We would spend our mornings out there having coffee and our evenings relaxing after long days of sight seeing and family events! Highly recommend and would stay again!

Understated Gem
Wow, breathtaking views, deer in the front yard, totally secure, back porch heaven, and soooo much more. This is more than I’ve ever encountered in a VRBO. Tawnya’s Hideaway is an exemplary example of a vacation rental. The bar has been set. Good luck to all the other area rentals. These host’s have written the playbook!

Thanksgiving Trip to Dripping Springs

Great House for Two Families
This house was just perfect for our 2 family vacation. We had 4 adults and 5 young kids (all under 6) and it was perfect. The outside has the playground that kids LOVED and the adults could see them from the patio and the kitchen windows which was great. We saw deer, rabbits, and even a tarantula (which the kids enjoyed). The house is close to many area attractions including Pedernales Falls and Hamilton Pool. And H-E-B if you keep forgetting items like we did! The AC had issues while we were there but I called TurnKey and everything was resolved within hours. We were very satisfied with our visit and would recommend it for others.

The Entire house was immaculate, even though we were not in the house much because we had a wedding to attend and not able to enjoy it as much as we liked it was a nice place to stay, hopefully maybe rent again but just to stay and enjoy the view next time. The only downside was the check-out time, 10:am is very early and the owner showed up prior to 10 am and we felt rushed, the prior evening my daughter was married at a venue down the street and we had a lot of decorations, etc to pack, and we just felt rushed but overall it was still a beautiful home. the pictures do not do it's justice.

Beuatiful stay in Dripping Springs
We really enjoyed this lovely home during our visit to Dripping Springs for a family wedding. The view off the back deck is fantastic and we enjoyed spending much of our time out there. We also loved the hot tub. We saw several deer in the area and around the house. The house has everything you need for a great stay. The only trouble we had was that the internet was not working well during our stay. I called the property management company and they tried to give me another option but the password didn't work. They offered to send someone out to fix it, but my husband was able to use his work phone as a hot spot. Overall this was a fantastic home and if we were ever in the area again we would choose to stay here. Just a note about the animals on the walls ... none of us are hunters but we really didn't mind the mountings. The online pictures give you a good idea of what to expect. We didn't have our kids with us on this visit ... but it would be a great place to stay with kiddos too. Playset, basketball hoop and lots of room for them to run around. I would recommend Hamilton Pool as a "must do" in the area ... it was one of the most beautiful places I have seen in the U.S. We also made a quick stop at Bell Springs winery on our way to the wedding. I wish we had more time to spend there as it was quaint and lovely. There was live music and the owners were super welcoming. Overall we had a great stay at this porperty and loved the Dripping Springs area!

Beautiful Home, Wonderful Host!
Our family was in town for a wedding and this property was a perfect location for us between the venue, the homes of the friends we were visiting, and all the activities. The space was immaculately clean and the house is very warm and inviting. Chris was incredibly gracious and accommodating and probably the most responsive host we've ever worked with. Obviously the views at the house are a huge draw - coffee or wine on the deck is just fabulous. But the living room and bedrooms are also very nice and comfortable. Lots of nice touches like blankets, access to the Xbox (the teenager was oh so happy), etc. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs - pots, pans, dishes, etc. are all extensive. We were a little surprised there wasn't any kind of basic pantry stock other than spices - most properties we've rented seem to have at least a wee bit of some basics like oil or cooking spray, etc. - but certainly not a big deal. We also had not noticed in the detailed description that it does say the hot tub had been removed, and based on the photo that shows it and reviews from past guests we thought the property had one; again, very much NOT a big deal to us, but thought it was worth noting in case the info helps someone else who reads this and had missed it in the details. Overall this home was absolutely perfect for our family, as I said. Each teen had their own room, and they had their own space downstairs while we had ours upstairs. We will very likely be visiting the area from time to time and will definitely stay here again if we can!

Lovely home with a beautiful view
My wife and I traveled with our 2 young boys (5,3) and my in laws came too. They took the upstairs master suite and we stayed downstairs near our boys. The space worked out well and the house is very well stocked with supplies and necessary items for cooking and cleaning. The kids loved the playground equipment outside and the sandbox and swings. We’d definitely stay here again if we had a future trip to the area.

Get away to Dripping Springs
We had a wedding at Canyonwood Ridge and love that fact that we were so close to the venue. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the view from the backyard and the space to sit out there a few times to talk and enjoy the view. It was awesome to see the amount of deers and birds.We also made time to visit Barton Springs and Wimberley on our 4 day stay. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Dripping Springs or surrounding area. Thank you.
