Inside, this newly updated home will calm you with its shades of blues, grays and greens, mirroring the views of the shimmering lake below. You'll find the open-plan living/dining room quickly becomes your favorite spot to visit with friends and family. The kitchen accents the great room with emerald green cabinetry and white granite countertops. An island bar offers seating for two. Pour a glass of Finger Lakes wine and visit with the chef of your group while they prepare your favorite meals. Completing the entry level, two master suites are yours to choose from. Upstairs, the third bedroom and bath can be found. Each bedroom is thoughtfully decorated with your comfort and tranquility in mind.

Outside, a walk down the gravel driveway and across the road leads to your 200-ft of private lake frontage. Peaceful weekend getaway
Very clean and comfortable. Peaceful and private setting with outstanding sunset views from the house or lakeside beach. Well equipped kitchen. Two first-floor bedrooms each with their own full bathroom was perfect for two retired couples. Highly recommend this property.

This house was perfect for my girlfriends and I. The bathroom to bedroom ratio is perfect, we were able to make home cooked meals while we stayed, and there was plenty of room to hang out! I wish we had taken advantage of the waterfront fire pit, but we will save it for next time!

Thanksgiving break in the Finger Lakes
Main floor has a good layout w wonderful lake views. The kitchen is well appointed and easy to use. Having a bathroom for each bedroom is great, too.

Weekend of Joy
Came to Aurora for a family wedding and this property was just what we needed! Home was beautiful and comfortable for all. A perfect place to relax when not at the wedding festivities. Panoramic views are stunning and the best for enjoying morning coffee and watching boats and wildlife. We only wished we could have stayed longer - highly recommend!

Loved it! Would stay again in a heartbeat
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was neat and clean. The pictures represent the property well. I even had a surprise in the large empty room upstairs as it was the perfect place for early morning yoga. The views were spectacular. The fire pit located across the street was well maintained and the fire ring was large enabling us to fit lots of wood to keep ourselves comfortable on a chilly fall day. It’s a beautiful spot would definitely rent this place again.

My family enjoyed our visit. The house is exactly as pictured and equiped with everything you could need for a week. There are hiking trails on the property that my husband and I enjoyed. We spent most of our time hiking the falls in Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Seneca Mills Falls. It is a drive to go places but the views are spectacular so we didn't mind. The only downside to our trip is, we all decided, that we didn't plan to stay 2 weeks.

Great Getaway
This was a safe getaway. The layout of the house was great. There were many quality kitchen appliances. The house was beautiful and all the bedrooms had comfortable beds and pillows. The only thing that would make this perfect would be hot water that comes on quickly and good water pressure when taking a shower. I would love to come back to this property as it had a beautiful view of the lake. The furniture was comfortable.

Perfect for two-3 couples , or a family
This property was so beautiful and located honestly within walking distance to the town of Aurora . Mackenzie Childs is right down the road as well. We went in mid October and therefore missed the swimming season. I was bound and determined to go kayaking but I forgot My life jacket. I recommend bringing your own towels as the ones provided were very basic. If you’re going to cook a lot bring all spices and provisions. There are three bedrooms each with their own private bathroom. Huge game room upstairs! They do have some games and books there but if you have a favorite bring them. The space is fantastic for group gatherings. We loved the lay out! The grounds have the most glorious trees . We also had two bonfires by the waters edge on 2 evenings! It’s great for star gazing as well. Next time we will bring another couple or two with us for another amazing stay.

Aurora-adjacent with lovely view of Cayuga
Clean, orderly house with both common areas and separate spaces for privacy. Only real issue is limited hot water in the shower; if you're looking for shower of more than 5, 6 minutes, you'll be out of luck. Kitchen is orderly and functional, BR (only used one) perfectly fine. Joined LR-Kitchen-Dining area offers lovely lake views. WiFi worked fine. Would've appreciated basic TV to allow for watching local news and weather; it's BYO premium channels, FYI, and no basic channels provided. About 1 mile to north end of Aurora, another half mile to compact, picturesque campus of Wells College - which is worth a walk-around 'cause it's so pretty.

The Perfect Place
Luxury on the lake pretty much sums it up. This home is spacious but cozy. The 2 main floor bedrooms with on suites was a real plus for our 2 couple group. The upper level bedroom also provides a full bath. The kitchen was beautiful and functional. Well stocked with dishes and utensils. Great coffee bar! The beds were comfortable...another big plus. The home was exceptionally clean and organized (no clutter). The upper level game area was nice with a great view of the lake. The walk to the beach wasn't far for us but just note the driveway might be considered long for some. The private beach is across the road at the end of driveway.We were able to enjoy an awesome camp fire our first night. Plenty of wood , chairs and tables provided. Solar patio lights added to the beautiful Autumn evening. Well worth the walk! We would definitely rent again if we return to the area.

Lovely and tranquil!
We rented this home for a couple of days to seek tranquility during a chaotic time in our country. It was exactly what we were hoping for and needed! Upon arriving, our kids (ages 11, 9 and 5) immediately discovered the tree swing. From the incredible view of the lake to a home complete with so many thoughtful and tranquil touches, we had a wonderful stay, and our kids repeatedly commented on how much they liked it there. We were surprised by the bonus room upstairs- in addition to the 3 bedrooms, there's a huge room that runs along the length of the house with sofas and kids' games/puzzles. Adding a few classic games like scrabble, chess, checkers, backgammon, etc. would be great. Amenity-wise, we would have loved liquid hand/body soap in the bathrooms and kitchen and perhaps also a few covid-safe cooking staples. We'd absolutely come back again!

Perfect house for our family
My siblings and their spouses (3 senior couples) found this house to meet most all of our needs. Each of us had our own bed and bathroom which is a real plus. We really enjoyed the game room. We brought our own reversible curling/shuffleboard and had tournaments. We set up a puzzle on the lower table which was a bit of a challenge for our knees and backs. And, we used the table upstairs for late night pinochle games. The lighting downstairs in the dining area leaves something to be desired. The florescent lights hum, put out dim lighting, and periodically one of the bulbs would go out. The only other criticism is the lack of ESPN on the TV. It was baseball playoff time and it would have been nice to watch these games. The house is beautiful. The kitchen very well stocked. And we watched a family of deer come by everyday to sample apples from the trees out front. The firepit area by the lake is a lovely, peaceful place to watch the sunset and enjoy s'mores.

Beautiful home and property
We loved the beautiful home and views from the many windows. It had everything we needed, from kitchen ware to games. We loved watching the deer come each evening to dine on fallen apples from the apple trees in the front yard. We loved the proximity to the village of Aurora and many nice wineries. It was extremely relaxing and we look forward to another vacation in the area in the future. We didn't realize we'd need to cross a busy road to get to the lake, but that worked out fine.
