"Nathalie is a great hostess. She answered our request to book promptly, answered all our questions and made us feel welcome - a mass of fresh herbs awaiting us on the kitchen table.. The VRBO photos clearly convey the feeling of her house - it may look simple from the outside, but the interior is well-appointed and warmly appointed, with a kitchen that enabled us to deliver everything we needed for an Easter break. "Loved the peace and tranquility of the area after a busy day at Disneyland or Paris. A bit far from supermarkets but doable. Pool a bit cold for kids but they enjoyed it nevertheless. Only shame is it rained whole week except day of arrival when we got to enjoy the bbq. "

"Beautiful main building however all the accommodation is in garden rooms adjacent to the property. Pretty basic furnishings but very clean. The restaurant was lovely and the food and wine great. All the staff were very helpful and friendly- would stay here again if in the area"

Really nice boutique hotel

"Small hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. I am a very light sleeper and my room was right next to the elevator and the elevator shaft. I asked to be changed and the front desk manager was so helpful. The room I was then given was in tbe very corner of the top floor and very quiet and peaceful. "

"This was a small inn which was very nice. Breakfast buffet was very good and room was clean and nice. The area around it was very residential so not a lot of things to do close by. The staff was very nice and always looking to take care of you. Did not eat dinner but restaurant always seemed full so good sign many locals. Good access to lots of attractions by car and well worth the cost. "

Poor service

"On arrival we had to try several numbers to get a response We had no hot water in any of the 3 rooms. We called and he returned saying it was sorted and we would have hot water after 3hrs but we still didn’t have any in the morning. We were on 3 motorcycles and had been travelling all day looking forward to a shower. Then in the morning while we had breakfast they went in our rooms moved some of our stuff and cleaned the rooms ready for the next guests before we even checked out. "

Run down Sézanne

"No reception found our rooms and assumed they were ours. Simple accommodation but suited our circumstances excellently. Suzanne becoming a run down town. One very good pizza restaurant and a cafe closed 2130 on a day France was playing in the euros???"
