I don’t know why I didn’t read the reviews before booking 3 nights here. The location was good for the event we were attending at Eventfinda, and it was spacious. However; no one was available to check in, I called the # on the door and was asked to provide my credit card details to verify my identity and get the key, I didn’t feel comfortable doing that, and I had already paid. After arguing backwards and forwards someone came out of reception with the key anyway? If it was there all along in really not sure why I had to go through all that. We didn’t see anyone else for the duration of our stay, we wanted to use the laundry that had a sign saying open 10-10 but it was locked the whole time. There are so many great options on the north shore, this is not one of them.

We asked at least 3 times if the rooms were wheelchair accessible and if they had roll in showers. We were told yes each time but this was not the case. The rooms are absolutely not wheelchair accessible, nor are the bathrooms. Furthermore, some of the rooms were on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. As a result multiple people had to seek alternative accommodation. We were not offered any form of refund and were actually charged extra for an additional ground floor apartment.

Phoned 24 hrs before arrival as required, operator did not understand and said he will phone back. he never phoned back. Struggled to get a key and get simple instructions how to enter and get a key. Cupboard door broken in the room, No Ice trays or ice available, The room next door had a TV blaring a TALK SHOW all day and all night. There was no one to ask to have it turned off or report to. Room was clean but nothing compared to the picture on the internet

Doesn’t look anything like the pictures, very run down, broken windows, gave us our room key didn’t fit in the door, rooms were cold, tried to use the heater but the plug got to hot and had to turn it off. Also other heater was broken and couldn’t use it. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, will not be staying here again.

The wifi was really bad as it kept disconnecting and to make it worse the location had bad mobile coverage so even using data was a nightmare. You couldn’t do a number 2 without blocking the toilet. They had a small playground of 2 swings which was falling a part. It does the job for somewhere to sleep at least.

The toilet, bedding and kitchen utensils were not cleaned. There was only 1 small portable heater for the whole 2 bedroom apartment. Beds were not comfortable to sleep on. I don’t recommend this lodge and will not come back again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Used as emergency housing. We were kept awake by the unit above us with yelling and swearing then woken up at 3.30am with rap music blaring for a whole hour. Will never stay here again.

This property was okay, and kept clean. The cleaning staff were friendly. Unfortunately our TV and oven didn't work and with no staff onsite it is a bit slower to sort.
