Number Five - Stay Waiheke

This newly completed architecturally designed holiday home is the place to relax, kick back and enjoy a holiday by the sea. Number Five is located on the edge of the vineyards and restaurants of the Onetangi wine valley and a just up the hill from the white sands of Onetangi beach and beach side cafes.

The home features three double bedrooms, open plan kitchen and living area and two full bathrooms. All the furnishings and fixtures are brand new and well thought out for the comfort of guests.
Doors and windows on two sides of the main living area slide open to let in the fresh air creating a feeling of open space.

Please note:
Bedrooms 2, 3 and second bathroom are located on the lower level and accessed externally.

Short stroll to the beach
Great location, just a short walk up the hill from Onetangi beach. Nice view from the turret up the top of the house. Spacious house with well-appointed kitchen and aircon. Will definitely be back.

Pro’s. nice modern feeling, comfortable beds, nice showers and bathrooms, comfortable lounge, very warm and sunny. Con’s. We found the listing info misleading. The view of the sea is from the roof top turret and not from the deck. There are no views from the deck. There is no interior access to the downstairs bedrooms, you have to go outside and down either of the two staircases, so not kid friendly (not that we had our kids) and it would not be pleasant going to bed in bad weather. We couldn’t get the dish washer to work. The combination for the key lock box had been changed and the property manager had emailed the combination. We had no access to emails and couldn’t get hold of the manager. It would have made more sense to have txted the combination to me. Was frustrating. Overall though we had a great weekend and found the house very comfortable and relaxing.

This is a beautiful property, is it has been thoughtfully designed and fitted out.
This is a beautiful property, is it has been thoughtfully designed and fitted out. Situated up on the hill it's a great walk down to Onetangi and back. The deck with great afternoon sun and the views and the wooden interior create a very restful spot. Would love to return...only question I thought there was a coffee maker..?? Didn't matter just made our morning walk more rewarding.. Thank you
