We arrived at Lincoln Court Motel Auckland, on the 2 November'23 to take up the booking. We looked at the unit allocated. It was dirty, dark and damp. The lighting was old looking unsafe. The kitchen had an unsavoury looking cleaning cloth and no plug for the sink. The exterior of the accommodation unit looked the same as all the other units- overgrown, run-down and potentially unsafe. We told the proprietor we could not stay and would find other accommodation. He said, 'I haven't taken payment, you'll need to contact Expedia.' However we find that the proprietor or Expedia had deducted payment from our account on the 1 November, the day before we were due to arrive.
