Welcome to our minimal apartment in Downtown Auckland, near Britomart and the Viaduct! Enjoy the smart TV and access to the pool and gym. Equipped with a fully functional kitchen, washer, dryer, super-fast WiFi, and a dedicated workspace, it has all you need for a comfortable stay!

Important - make sure to read through the Other Things to Note section below. We have a lot of useful information there that is essential to know for your stay.

The Space:
Our simple apartment is perfectly situated for both business and pleasure travellers and is equipped with all the necessities you may need! This apartment will be a great choice for your stay with a full kitchen, TV, and super comfy queen beds.

We provide our guests with free unlimited WIFI, towels and bed linen, as well as a welcome pack of starter amenities, and we use a high quality cleaning company so the apartment will be perfect for your arrival. Please let us know if you have any questions and we look forward to seeing you soon!

We have all the amenities and facilities you will need to make your stay in Auckland as comfortable as possible:

The two bedrooms both have brand new Queen sized beds and city views.

The main room of the apartment has a fully functional kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, and dish washer. The living area has a sofa, a smart TV, and a dining table with four chairs. There is also a beautiful balcony with city views and a glimpse of the ocean - great for a cup of coffee in the morning!

There is a washing machine and dryer tucked away in a cupboard in the bathroom.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment, as well as the swimming pool and gym.

The Neighborhood:
Everything you need is within walking distance from the apartment! Here are some suggestions for things to see and do on your visit to Auckland:

The Viaduct - the best bars and restaurants in the city! The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari.

Federal Street - next to the Sky Tower (you can't miss it!) There are a lot of really nice bars and restaurants and cafes in this street, as well as the Sky City Casino and of course the Sky Tower. Dine at the top of tower at restaurant with the best views in Auckland, and jump off the Sky Walk to get down

Aotea Square - Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter.

Albert Park, Art Gallery and the Museum - Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden.

Karangahape Road (a.k.a 'K' Road) - If you head up the hill on Queen Street, you'll eventually reach K Road, where you'll find Auckland's alternative night scene. Many great bars, live music, shisha cafes, and cheap takeaways are what K Road is known for.

Ponsonby – If you head West of the CBD, you will find the Ponsonby area. There is old colonial-style architecture there, many great stores for shopping, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Some of the best restaurants in Auckland are here, especially great for fine dining as this is an up-market area of Auckland.

Apart from these mini adventures, Queen Street (main street the city) is filled with shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, live music venues, and more! Make sure you explore High Street as well, which lies just parallel to Queen Street. That whole area is very nice to walk, relax, or dine out in, and tends to be a bit cheaper than Queen Street if you want to do some shopping.

If you want to explore further Auckland then you can take a walk towards the Viaduct from the apartment. There you will find Britomart station. (Bus and train)

Getting Around:
There is the SkyBus to and from the Airport, or via taxi. For trains, busses, and ferries: Britomart bus and train station/Wynyard Wharf Ferry Terminal and Downtown Pier 4. You can also use the Lime Scooters to get around the city, as well as Uber (or Zoomy – NZ’s version of Uber).

Other Things to Note:
Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.

Key Pick-Up: The key will need to be picked up from a secure location at 79 Anzac Avenue, which is a 5 minute walk or 2 min drive away from the apartment. They provide 24/7 access to keys via lockboxes. Please double-check if this suits you and ask us if you have any questions or concerns before booking. They also have free WiFi access in case you need the internet to contact us. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.

Parking: There is one free secure carpark in the building allocated to this apartment

Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment for a $65 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.

Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.

Housekeeping: We can arrange extra weekly housekeeping during your stay if requested for the same price as the cleaning fee listed per clean. Stays longer than 21 days will be required to have a mid-stay clean at your expense. Please just send us a message if you need extra cleaning as we will need to organise this with the cleaning company we use.

Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay (4x shampoo, 4x bodywash, 6x tea/coffee, 2x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes) but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.

Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed and a face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.

Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.

Interaction with Guests:
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours.

Great information and details about the property and how to get there. Customer service not good. I sent a couple of emails asking questions that were unanswered. When we arrived the property was not as per photos. . Multiple stains on the sofa. Stains on the carpet. TV didnt work . Locks on the ranch sliders didnt work so we were glad we didnt have small children. Cupbard doors were broken. I messaged the team and they asked for photos and said that the management team didnt work the weekend. I understood that but we are now Monday night and no reply. We didnt expect perfection but would not recommend this property to anyone. The view was spectacular as advertised. Pool wasnt swimable as it was green and unpleasant.

Not as nice as you’d think for the money
The spot was good. But there was a lot that could have been better. The check-in process was frustrating. I did not like that I needed to go to an non-VRBO website to access info. While they’re upfront about it, having to go an off-site location to pick up the access keys was a challenge. I didn’t understand why the keys couldn’t be made available via the receptionist at the front lobby. While having a parking spot was absolutely clutch, the written directions to the garage weren’t helpful. Having the photos of the garage and street access helped but again was only available via the non-VRBO website. The garage locks you in, which means we had to move our car out of the garage onto the street and then go back into the building to leave the keys in the rental for checkout. The apartment wreaked of lemon scented cleaner which was good and bad. The carpet is worn down and I ended up finding a staple in my shoe that I must have picked up from the carpet. The curtains had small holes and mold. This honestly didn’t bother me but I know it could be an issue for others. To me, if I’m paying for the view, parking spot and location, the place should be nice. The bathroom sink is tiny. The shower has a half glass door thing which meant that water got everywhere on the floor which was not pleasant nor safe. I would have appreciated some sort of welcome booklet. A small improvement could be a photo of the gorgeous view with buildings, parks, and landmark labelled.

Parking adventure
Instructions for entering were detailed. We had to collect the key a km or so from the apt. We were unsure where the accom was as building not numbered. Leaving required us to exit, park , then return key to apt.
