The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"A very nice place to stay. Very private with no traffic noise. The property was to a very high standard and well equipped. Parking was very secure and easy. The swimming pool was wonderful, clean and a good temperature. It is set in a beautifully landscaped garden. Very nice hosts and a most enjoyable stay."

"Nice property, pretty much as advertised. Owners were very communicative, helpful & pleasant, check in & out easy. The bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need from breakfast to evening meal. It has a nice terrace outside, but we didn’t use it to eat out on as the wind was unusually strong while we were there. "Really ideal place for even longer vacation in Provence and southern France. Town Uzes is one of the best places to live in this area. Small but really lively. Our vacation with 6 and 9 years old children was just perfect with back yard pool (120 cm deep) where learned to swim and dive in the heat of summer.
