"I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking. Clean, friendly and convenient

"We use this hotel en-route to Portugal from the UK. Very friendly reception staff, good breakfast and a decent burger bar and brewery beer place 30 secs walk away that is dog friendly plus a decent Italian restaurant next door (not sure about the dog friendly bit). We will stay again."
