"This place is a gem. Highly recommended. We truly enjoyed our stay here. We had a large room, very clean, heated. Management was friendly and amenable to our needs. The property is well maintained, newly renovated. We come from a city so we were thrilled to have goats, chickens and peacocks nearby. The place is a short walk from the Medieval Village. "The place itself is nice and has a certain charm. Didn’t love the location/area though and lack of programming. Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to. "First off, the location is great to experience this portion of Portugal and at a great value to the options closer in Peniche. The listing is accurate and had no complaints about that. Just be aware, this house is completely stocked and decorated with Ikea everything. Meaning the furniture, although functional is not really that comfortable. "Pros: GREAT location with beautiful views right across the street from the ocean. Staff is very friendly. Loads of amenities (though you have to pay extra). Cons: Bungalows have ZERO light in the kitchen and minimal lighting in the room. We had to use our headlamp to cook. There is no way to have air circulation in the room if you don’t have the main sliding doors open while you sleep. Only one small bathroom window that cracks a few inches. Tiny Village, Big Character

"I booked this stay last minute as I wanted to explore Obidos. I had to work during the day, so I needed to find a place with easy access to the town and with strong internet. It had that in spades. It was a really comfortable room, with an awesome view. The care of the front desk team to help me explore thoroughly- every time I entered or exited they made sure I was doing well and they checked in on if I liked the Chocolate Event that was happening nearby. If I return to Obidos, I'll absolutely be staying here again."
