"It is a case of you get what you paid for. The breakfast was lousy. The shower was terrible and flooded the bathroom. The room was very clean and spacious for two people. The balcony was big and a great surprise. It did not feel like a hostel but more like a hotel.. The staff were very friendly. The air conditioning turned off when we left the room, not a major issue. Overall if you are on a limited budget it is worth looking into this place. It was in a great location."

"Location was great, close to the heart of the old town. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Balcony looking on to the old city wall was nice. However, the bed had no top sheet - just a bottom sheet and a blanket. We tried to get a sheet of one of the bunk beds, but it was dirty and smelly. Staff provided a top sheet when asked and we fitted it ourselves. There were no tea or coffee making facilities anywhere. The TV had no channels at all, so was purely for decoration."

"The description said there was breakfast, private bathroom, kitchen, free water, and no curfew. None of this was provided or was true. They locked the gate at night and we were locked in till 9 am. This is a major fire safety hazard. The common area was being used as a restaurant. Guests were made to feel we were nuisance. I spoke with other guests that felt that the same way. "I enjoyed that the hotel was right on the beach and promenade. The place was clean and overlooked the ocean! We had some difficulties and the staff quickly resolved them. It was a little tricky to get into the apartment because the elevator needed a fob and we weren't told about that. There was one left in the room., so that was good. "
