This third-row cottage is an easy short walk to the beach - out the door and straight ahead one block to the access. When you return from the beach, wash off in the enclosed shower in the back. Sandfiddler is all on one level with no steps to deal with. Enjoy the screened porch with a ceiling fan or an open deck on the back is great for hanging out while the grilling expert grills dinner.

Sandfiddler has an open living room, dining, and kitchen area. The full kitchen has an oven/range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Kick back on the sofas and enjoy watching TV on the large TV or pop a movie into the DVD player. There is also a separate small living area that is the perfect setup for gaming for the children or getting away to read a book. The primary bedroom has a private bath. There is a utility room with a full-size washer/dryer.

Amazing location and house

Wonderful screen porch
Our family really enjoyed sitting out on the screen porch sharing meals. We appreciated the tables for six both inside and out verses four. The beds were comfortable and a super short walk to the beach.

Great off-season stay at the beach!
This was the perfect property to spend the holidays at the beach and close to our son stationed at Cherry Point. A short walk to the beach and close to restaurants.

Charming and close to the beach!
We four boomers enjoyed every moment here; the rooms are attractive and spacious, no steps to slow us down, the kitchen is well-equipped and convenient. The well-chosen prints and paintings throughout are especially note-worthy, there's nothing cute or cheesy here. And of course, the screened porch is a great retreat. Next time we plan to have meals outside, this time was too chilly.

This house was well situated for our activities in Atlantic Beach. The layout worked well for our family. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Overall, the house needs some serious TLC.

Open floor plan--New Appliances--near beach!
We loved the open layout of this beach home. It was just the right size for our family of 4 (two teenage sons). The appliances were like new--especially the washer/dryer. I loved that it had speed settings. We had no problems with anything appliance related. We did have them come out and fix our master sink--but it was a quick fix. I appreciated having dishwashing and laundry soap there for me to use. We were just one block from the beach and the neighborhoods were so quiet. We ran every morning and appreciated the safety we felt. The price we paid was so affordable! I highly recommend this vacation home and we'd definitely rent it again!

Stay over 4th
We loved the location for several reasons. House right at street to walk over to public access to beach, close to the restaurants we love and perfect spot to watch fireworks right from house. The house was spacious and lived the bathrooms. Granddaughter loved the tub. The only drawback was lots of ants.

The location was excellent. There is a 2 minute walk to the beach and it is central to restaurant. The fishing pier is exactly 1 mile away and Fort Macon was 3 miles. The house however had quite a few problems that could easily be fixed with minimal effort. Front porch railing falling off and is unsafe. Poor lighting throughout. A need to spray for ants as they were in the bathrooms. Dirty feet walking across floor. Master bathroom door sticks so if you use it at night, you will wake anyone else up in the room when you close or open the door. Receptacle by TV in master did not work and we had no extension cords, so no nap time TV. Front door has a wide gap and did not lock easily. All easily fixable! But the location made up for these annoyances.

Never again!!!
There were live roaches in the kitchen, red ants in two different bedrooms, TV in the master bedroom would not work. None of that was as bad as the front door sticking because the frame was warped and no one had done anything about it. It took three days for them to send someone to even look at our issues and another day to get some one out to work on the door. If there had been a fire in that house my entire family might have perished. How do they try to compensate us ... oh we can refund your booking fee. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Love this house
I love that this house is on one floor and a close walk to beach! We have stayed here many times and I would love to retire in this house! The only down fall is there is not much cabinets to store food but we make it work. House is well supplied with all your kitchen needs. The screen porch is the best and the added deck and shower out back is nice also. Great star gazing!
