The rooms are small, but the hotel is cute, quaint. Thier prices for food and beverages is on the higher end. Also, about two blocks from this hotel is a homeless encampment but it was relatively quiet, and no one bothered me or asked for money as I walked past twice.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Mike and Dante were so welcoming and answered any questions we had. They are a great way to be greeted upon arrival. Booked a 3 night stay at The Darwin at last minute. Late night check-in was smooth & parking in hotel carpark was super convenient. The staff at this hotel are absolutely fantastic & very friendly. We booked one of the larger rooms which had the comfiest mattress & pillows with an amazing view of the Atlanta Skyline. Hotel location was perfect for us, an 5-min drive or Uber to anywhere in the city. All in all it is a wonderful hotel, and really added to our positive experience whilst visiting Atlanta. The only negative i can think of is the lack of a coffee machine or kettle in the room.

The Darwin was a cute boutique hotel. Embedded in the heart of Atlanta neighborhood. Sketchy overflow parking. Could hear person above us walking. Overall I would stay again. Really comfortable beds and turn down service each night.

The Darwin is a wonderful art filled space, it’s very unique and the staff was wonderful, they were very helpful and kind. the surrounding area seemed a little on the sketchy side, with what seemed to be some abandoned buildings, some run down fast food places, & some possible homelessness but really only on one side of the hotel, on the other it was very gentrified with a trader joe’s, nice breakfast restaurants, and other shops, i guess just be weary if you’re walking!

Just a mild warning, the room we stayed in had a barn door on the bathroom with no privacy lock and about a 2.5” gap between the door and the wall. People in shower clearly visible. We had to fashion a drape out of a robe and large towel for privacy. The shower head was so weak that it took forever to get clean. The water pressure in the sink was great, so it’s probably an extreme water saving shower head, so bring your own shower head.

Outstanding Spot!
Great looking boutique hotel in a nice area with access to shopping and restaurants. Super friendly staff! Ended up here due to missed connection at ATL but would choose for a longer stay when in town next.
