lack of communication

Overall, poor communication and experience with this host. Had issues with my original booking and host changed my reservation without contacting me. I had to be the one to reach out. Ended up cancelling and refunding day before the stay. Never saw the property, but lack of communication between host and renter is the reason for the review.

Buy with caution

For context our original unit got canceled due to a roach infestation. The unit got switched and the owner did not let us know. We had to contact the day before and that is when he informed us. This did not give us any time to find a hotel or another place to stay at. We are a group of 6 and the original unit was for a group of 6. The new unit that was provided was only for a group of 4 to sleep. We were not told of this. This made our 2 night trip very uncomfortable. The unit was also very dirty. The toilet has pee stains. The bathtub had dirt and the rugs were stained. The bed provided was caving in and we felt unsafe to sleep on it. The couch was not a pull out couch so there was really no where to sleep. There was only one roll of toilet paper, the toilet paper was used and there were no extra. The floor wasn’t cleaned in certain spots. Like the pantry had scattered pasta on the floor. The dryer and washer had clothes in it. There was a tile lifting on the floor. On the other hand it’s a very affordable spot but just keep in mind you are getting what you paid for.
