Welcome to “Lost in the Woods” – a peaceful, secluded retreat nestled in the heart of North Idaho’s stunning Carriwood region, set in the majestic Selkirk Mountains. This cozy cabin is the perfect escape for couples, small families, or solo adventurers looking to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature.
Step inside, and you’ll feel right at home. Our cabin features a comfortable bedroom with a queen bed and a welcoming living room with a sleeper sofa, perfect for two children or a pair who don’t mind snuggling up. With Wi-Fi available, you can stay connected while enjoying the beauty of the woods. The full kitchen includes all the essentials—coffee maker, microwave, and more—so you can enjoy your favorite meals (though there's no dishwasher, just like grandma's cabin!). The full bath features on-demand hot water, while the in-unit washer and dryer add a touch of homey convenience.
After a day exploring the great outdoors, curl up by the gas heater with its warm, visible flame casting a cozy glow, or step out onto the private rear balcony. There, you’ll find a gas grill ready for you to cook up an al fresco meal as you take in the serene beauty of the forested surroundings. For added ease, your main door opens with a digital lock, so you can obtain your own custom code and come and go worry-free with no keys or lock boxes to worry about.
We welcome pets and kindly ask guests to clean up after them—even outdoors—to help keep our property pristine for everyone. The cabin is equipped with smoke and CO2 detectors, as well as fire extinguishers, for your safety. For outdoor adventures, we offer bear spray for purchase, just in case! Please note, this is a 100% non-smoking property, and we observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM, ensuring a restful atmosphere.
Located near Lake Pend Oreille and less than an hour from both Schweitzer Mountain Resort and Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area, our Airbnb is ideally situated for all-season fun. In winter, bring snowshoes to explore trails right outside your door or nearby at Farragut State Park. Other winter and non winter activities include hiking, fishing, boating, and a day at Silverwood Theme Park (seasonal), offering fun for the whole family.
During the winter, we use only the upper parking area. Please note that the cabin is a short walk down a gentle slope. Additionally, we recommend an all-wheel or four-wheel-drive vehicle with snow tires for peace of mind in Idaho's snowy conditions.
Come get "Lost in the Woods" and find the perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and home comforts in beautiful North Idaho.
