"The Rockford is a real gem. So welcoming, quaint and in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble, the room we had was really comfortable and clean. "This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather."

"This is a lovely old little B&B, with a cute country charm and lovely, friendly staff. Great food for vegetarians at breakfast and dinner. Nice room with lovely views of the countryside. Due to the rural and old nature of the pub, it was a little dusty and probably in need of a lick of paint, but this certainly shouldn’t deter people from staying. It was everything we needed during our stay!"

"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. The room had lots of little extras to make it cosy and homely. The bed was really, REALLY comfy, so much so that even my partner who usually struggles when we are...

"1st thing this isnt in Ilfracombe its combe martin which had hardly anything in it, so very misleading on hotels.com, ok, it was just a nights stop to break the trip up, wish we had knew it was a carvery as even though we was stopping there they was fully booked and couldnt fit us in, which i thought was bad service because surely they could of called us to offer us this knowing we was staying there the night, instead we had to go looking for food elsewhere and in combe martin there isnt much...

"It’s a bit hard to judge because I was there just for sleep for a few hours. Great welcome by staff. Quirky room but clean, comfortable, tv, bar snacks and most important a good stay. I like quirky so enjoyed the room! So 7/10."
