"The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice and clean. Very nice lobby and the staff is extremely friendly, everyone speaks English very well! However they did not have washcloths. In Europe apparently that is not an option they utilize. Also, the hotel is located right in the city so looking out your window of your hotel You will look into an apartment building, or people are hanging their clothes out on the balcony and a little bit run down and very dingy. I would still choose this hotel again, but for some people they may not like looking at a rundown building next door. I would still give this place a five-star rating due to the staff, and the beautiful amenities inside the hotel. You feel very safe with your surroundings here!"

"The staff at The Stanley are all fantastic. We had some lovely servers at the rooftop restaurant and around the pool and they couldn’t have done more for us. The actually rooftop pool and dining area is absolutely stunning with views of The Parthenon whilst you swim and eat dinner! The room itself was clean and kept clean by staff and the bed was very comfortable. There is a wide choice of food at breakfast to suit everyone and the roof top restaurant food is also fantastic. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"Right in the middle of Athens downtown near Acropolis, this Electra hotel presents an aura of five star hotel from the front desk through the building. The rooftop pool was super busy in the afternoon, and they didn’t have enough pool side seating for everyone. The spa area offers sauna and steam room helping you detox and relax after traveling or sightseeing. The de luxe room was not large but spacious enough for two to stay for a couple of days. This is a nice spot for enjoying Athens sightseeing and wine and dining. Concierge was helpful in making transportation and restaurant reservations. "
