Perfect location to walk out directly on the main plaza with shops and restaurants in every direction. Short walk to the Acropolis. Noisy at night as lots of people out having fun. Chris and Bill were very helpful answering questions and arranging transportation in and out of Athens.

there is no microwave in the room. The room was also extremely small. The entrance to the building is in an alley. There is no front desk service in my building. Front desk service was across the street in another building. When we arrived, we checked in and the lady told us our room was in the building around the corner. So my daughter and I, with our suitcases, start going up this hill in the hot sun. We walked past the building because the sign was in the alley(barely visible from the street). I told my daughter to wait, and I went back to the lady and said I needed help to find the building. She came with me and guess what?? She did not know where the building was either…OMG!! She finally found it. We go in the building and had to lug our suitcase up 2 flights of stairs to get to the elevator because the elevator does not start on the main floor.

Excellent location, a couple of minutes away from the Monastiraki metro station. Very tasteful room, spacious and cozy and everything looked quite new. Very comfortable mattress. The reception staff, Christos and Nikoletta, were very helpful with their suggestions for restaurants and bars in the area.

I stayed at Down Town Suites by Athens Tower Hotel and had a mixed experience. Location and Surroundings: The hotel's location at the end of Ermou Street is convenient, but the area is extremely loud and crowded. Noise disrupted my sleep for two nights due to homeless individuals outside, one of whom caused loud arguments and made me feel unsafe. Response to Noise Complaint: When I called to complain, the staff promptly intervened but the noise escalated the second night with shouting and banging, heightening safety concerns. Accessibility and Room Condition: The newly renovated hotel was nice, but the elevator not stopping on the ground floor was inconvenient. I woke up with mosquito bites despite repellent. Service and Security: The front desk was helpful, but the smart technology setup made me uncertain about emergency contacts. Check-in details were not sent in advance, and lack of visible security added to feeling unsafe. Tips for Future Guests: Hotel entrance is in an alleyway off Ermou Street, in the building with the Toi & Moi store. Overall Impression: While the renovated rooms and responsive staff were positives, noise, accessibility issues, and safety concerns impacted my stay. Improved security and communication would enhance guest experience.

Located in the middle of shopping area which was very good. Room was clean however do not stay there if you’re not willing to carry luggage 6 flights of stairs. Messaged the hotel but they replied saying they would send someone to fix it which they did not. There were also no lights on the stairway which is painted black so be careful. I used my flashlight on my phone to light the way.

Amazing location but with stairs and bug bites
The good: service and the check-in people are amazing, location is right next to subway and Monastiraki square. Good space in room and convenience of electronic passcode made it so no need to remember where key is. The bad: I got around 10 bed bug bites after sleeping here. I still gave it 3 stars because none of the bites ended up being serious or scratchy so I was able to mostly ignore them. More bads: no shower door so water gets on floor easily, no reception for building so can feel scary entering at night since there are homeless people laying on the floor across entrance as you type in a passcode, and the rooms start on the 3rd floor in the building even though they start with the number 1 and the elevator starts on 2nd floor, so be prepared for a decent amount of stairs every time and some pain for heavier luggage.

Great place to stay - perfect location
Loved the stay at downtown suites - great small cosy room, very clean & newly renovated. Location cannot be beaten! Best spot to explore Athens. Super convenient Only down side was the stair case up to the room - there was no lift to the floor we were staying which meant lugging our suitcases up several stairs - which was difficult to do! Aside from this highly recommend
