Completely renovated to make your stay more enjoyable, this apartment is located in Varatassi str. 7, a pedestrian street next to Alexandras Avenue, near the center of Athens.
Located on the 2nd floor of a building with elevator, furnished by its architect owner with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture, it has a pleasant living-dining room, two separate bedrooms (one of which is equipped with 'a double bed 160 cm and the other two single beds), a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a spacious shower 80X100.
The apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Athens (air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, hair dryer, iron, ceramic hob, toaster, coffee makers, small oven and microwave).
It is located near bus lines (230, 025, 026, B5, 18, 19) that will allow you to quickly reach the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, Plaka, the Archaeological Museum, etc. On foot it will take you 20 minutes to reach the center of Athens and the tourist area.
From Athens airport, you will arrive by metro (blue line) to Ambelokipi station which is 10 minutes walk from the apartment or less than 5 minutes by bus (lines A7, B5, 14, 18, 19) that you will take at the metro exit (exit Alexandras / Panormou) until Ippokratous stop.
In the neighborhood you will find cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, a bakery next to the house, banks with ATMs and many shops. Please note that pets are not accepted.
The apartment is not wheelchair accessible due to steps in the lobby of the building just before the elevator.

Located right over a bakery
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was perfect and in a great location. Close to public transportation. the host was so informative and gave great suggestions. It is located right over a bakery so mornings smell and taste delicious.

Great stay in Athens!
What a great location and property! There was plenty of space for us to spread out, close walk to the metro and it had all the amenities which made our stay great. The communication was wonderful and we were met right upon check-in and given a walk through and the keys. There is a little cafe just steps from the front door and my husband and son ate there every day - they LOVED the gyro's. They were so sad it wasn't open the day we left. Thank you for a great stay!

Great stay in Athens!
First time in Athens and our host Miltiadis made the experience exceptional. He gave us great advice on getting around the city which made navigating a breeze. His expertise on the city and its history was much appreciated. The apartment was charming and comfortable, with all the amenities close at hand. The central location was close to all of the attractions we were looking to visit, which made it very simple to get around the city. We would highly recommend!

We had a great stay! Apartment was clean and as described. Kept us cool during the heat wave! There are several markets, banks and coffee shops nearby. Metro is about 1km away and only 3 stops from Syntagma Square and 4(with transfer) from the acropolis. Great communication from the owner and he was also very helpful with tours, transfers and restaurants. Awesome!

The apartment was awesome. It was really spacious and clean. It was close to supermarket. Just a short ride via Uber to Athens. There were also buses and subways available. The apartment was in a great area and had Wifi and AC. Miltiadis and his wife were great hosts. They answered all of my questions quickly and provided great tips/suggestions for things to do and eat in Athens. I would highly recommend staying here

Mr. Kalafati was very nice and helpful providing us with all the information we needed about the apartment and the area. Also Mr. Mimika was very friendly when we arrived and answered all our questions. The apartment is lovely, very spacious, and has everything you need, from bathroom supplies to little kitchen necessities like oil, salt, coffee, etc. It even has a laundry washing machine! Overall a great place to stay, you can move around using Athen's public transportation, highly recommended!

Convenient place to stay away from hubbub
I had everything that I needed and was close to transportation for any trip I took. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I only wish that others in the building would be careful to lock the door. I was glad for the flashlight on my phone when the power went out one day. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Great apartment
This apartment was great, very clean, spacious bedrooms, a cute little balcony. Our host was wonderful- he sent tons of helpful information ahead of time about the area, things to do, restaurants to try, wine recommendations, etc. He also had a map with nearby bus/metro stops marked and info on how to obtain public transit passes which was incredibly helpful. The apartment is about 15-20 minutes on public transport to the city center. There is a bakery and a restaurant both a few doors down. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator available.

A little Athens Gem
Wow, what can we say! The apartment was so much bigger and more spacious than the photos do it justice for! Superbly clean, amazing location with easy access to thecentee of Athens. Miltiadis and his co-hosts were an absolute delight to deal with. Top notch communication and helpful to the last, even arranging to allow us earlier access to the apartment because of our 5am flight arrival time. Live like an Athens
Thanks to a perfect organisation and discription through our host Miltiadis, the kind support by Mimika and the warm welcoming by Christos, arriving in Athens and in our holidays was more than easy and relaxing. The apartment is a neat and cosy place where you immediately feel at home. Although it is not located right in the old town of Athens it is quick and convenient to reach all the sights by foot, by bus or with the metro. You should definitely buy the 3 or 5-days-Athena ticket that allows you to access all public transport. For a good breakfast and start into the day there is a bakery in the neighbourhood with delicious bread, koulouri, cake and coffee. We really had a fantastic time in Athens.

Loved this stay!
We really appreciated our stay here! I marked the location down at 3 stars only because directly outside the apartment seemed a bit sketchy and it’s right next to 6 lanes of traffic so we definitely could hear noise at night. On the other hand, it was near a supermarket for us to pick up water, fruit, and snack bars (between 5 and 10 minutes walk) AND it only took us 15 minutes to walk to the Ambelokipi metro station (very convenient). I really appreciated how quickly and nicely Miltiadis answered all of my questions, he went over and beyond in giving helpful information about the city and our stay, AND the beds were comfortable (firm, which we all loved). There was detergent under the sink for us to do our laundry with, and that was awesome. We never cooked so we didn’t need the kitchen except for the sink and fridge, but it looked well stocked with stuff for cooking. The bakery literally two doors down from the apartment entrance was so convenient! We got pastries and coffee every morning from there! One thing that would have been nice would have been if there had been a light turned on in the stairwell. We couldn’t figure out how to turn a light on so it was quite dark without our cell phone flashlights. We really appreciated our stay though!

Met expectations in the best ways possible
The property is as advertised. The apartment is spacious, especially the bedrooms, and everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The host met me at the door on my arrival and oriented me to the property. I could see where a person might want to be more centrally located to the tourist attractions, and there are certainly nicer, more affluent neighborhoods in Athens, but for the price, I didn't mind the 10-15 minute walk to the metro, which is only three stops away from the Acropolis, etc. I would stay here again.
