"Accommodation was in a great locaition. 15 minutes uphill walk to the Chora, or 2 minutes into the harbour of Pera Gialos with shops, bars, restaurants and a small beach. Accom had everything you need, good aircon, balcony. kitchenette etc. Beds were comfy, The host wasn't brilliant at communication, that said he was kind enough to pick us up from the port and gave us a gift when we left. It took a few emails to get a response from him, but he was great when we did. My only other minor gripe is...

"Castellano and Astypalea were a real find and worth the long ferry journey, although there are also limited flights to and from Athens, Kos and Rhodes. The studios have the standard of a boutique hotel but with a relaxed ambience of a family run business. Most suitable for couples and families with slightly older children (5+). "The apartment was good & clean if a little basic. The communication was good. Fantastic location on the water within walking distance to wonderful restaurants. However, the apartment was noisy. Noise travels easily between apartments with washing machines going all night. We were next to a very noisy family with children shouting until 2am - this was frustrating and extremely tiring ! "
