Awesome House! - Awesome Location!
The house is HUGE with large bedrooms and the most amazing central living area and well-equipped kitchen. Right on the river with a huge dock and places for multiple boats. Our family LOVED staying here!

The house needs some tender loving care but overall the size of it - number of bedrooms and baths, the fireplace and dock on river were awesome. Our family truly enjoyed it....

Great Retreat
Had a leadership retreat with our organization. There were 6 couples and the property was great for relaxing and meeting. Loved the setting on the river, and the well furnished indoor and outdoor spaces. I would recommend for large groups.

Perfect location, centrally located for boat lovers. Close proximity to Silver Glen Springs. The house is beautiful with plenty of room for our party! Owner was extremely helpful with any questions I had. Will book again in the near future!

Backyard Family Wedding
This was the perfect location for our small family wedding. We got the whole weekend to enjoy our family and friends. Also the perfect backdrop to say “I do”. The owner was available for assistance when we needed him and was super friendly!

Big with Great River Views
Loved the layout of this property. 5 rooms with king beds and private baths, great for multiple couples. There are a few additional features not listed, like a fire pit, grill and large Blackstone. The house is a bit dated but what we were expecting, pictures are true to the house. We really enjoyed family time, cooking in the large kitchen and wrap around deck! Sunrises were gorgeous.

Great location and wonderful layout for large family. Needs updating. Carpets are worn and home needs manor deep clean. Sent a couple emails to owner before and during stay but never received response. Overall a good stay.

Perfect Family Retreat
Riverbend is a beautiful, rustic retreat that we stayed in so that we could have all our kids back together after Covid 19 as two of them are first responders. The home is huge and everyone had their own space. We brought our boat but also used the pontoon so all could enjoy the fun and sun. We will be booking again. Thank you Mark for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful river home.

Great place
This house was a great place. We were there for a birthday and dirt Track Nationals. It was close to the track. there was a lot of space for everyone. we BBQ and fished off the dock. We rented there boat and went to lunch on the water. we will coming back in the summer sometime. The owner was a great guy. Totally reamend this place.

Refreshing and Peaceful Fishing Vacation
We had a wonderful stay at RiverBend and have already booked again for next year. The house is very spacious and has great views up and down the St Johns River. Wonderful dock to sit and enjoy a cocktail too. Thanks to Mark and his team for putting together a great place for friends and family to enjoy time together, but big enough to have private space and time as needed. LOL. We are already anticipating the fun our group will have next spring at RiverBend!

Great Get Away Spot
We returned this year to the beautiful setting on the St John's River. This home is as advertised and communication with Mark (the host) was great. The home has a beautiful view just steps away from the dock on the river. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed as well. This was not our first time here, and we have already booked again for next year. Each year, it seems that he is adding more features to make the home even better. We love the full size griddle on the porch too. Wish the weather was a little cooler this year, but other than that, it was great!

Cockroaches
the house had a leak in the roof of the living room. and many cockroaches throughout the house. In the kitchen we find the microwave and refrigerator inside the ice machine and many in the bathrooms. It was communicated to the owner and he said he was in contract with a company. but it was disgusting to pay so much to be in a house full of cockroaches

Wedding Of The Year
We held our daughters wedding at this venue it was absolutely breathtaking.. guest are raving! We even had a visitor the morning after the wedding from a home across the river come over to tell us how beautiful it was from afar... )they were curious as they were as well renting) as to if it was a motel, restaurant or hall and were shocked that it was a private home (size+++). This property is well maintained, sits directly on the St. Johns River, the dock as well as the home, wrap around enclosed porch (views as far as the eye can see) and boat bunk house (included) are huge and slept our entire family and bridal party easily plus accommodated our guest , our wedding planner Dante and team ( Joe Hearn Events 5+++ Stars) vendors ( Mission BBQ 5+++ Stars) ... beyond ample room for events parking as well. Cannot say enough about the property and the owners are awesome ! Many thanks Mark !!

Amazing home and setting on a broad expanse of the St. Johns River!
Riverbend was the perfect getaway place for our family reunion. The Lodge is huge as described with plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. We all loved early morning coffee around the firetop table in the enclosed breezeway area as well as out on the dock. Several memorable sunrises and great place to watch the river wake up. We used both the gas grill in the evenings and the flat cook top outside for eggs, bacon and pancakes. The bedrooms are all spacious and beds were comfortable. The home is a bit dated and could use some improvements and thus our overall 4 review. But please understand we had a 5 star vacation at Riverbend. The location is fantastic. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed every minute of our time on the river. The sand bar or the springs (a bit further up) are both good destinations up the river and out onto Lake George. They are great spots to hang out, cook and swim with the family. Mark and his team were very also responsive to questions in advance of our arrival to the home.

Positive overall with some needed attention to detail
The overall stay was great! We loved the spacious layout and multiple master bedrooms. It made for an ideal stay with our family and children. Likewise we enjoyed the fishing despite not catching many large fish along the dock. We also got see some nature including fish, smaller gators, raccoons and even a manatee that swam to the top of the water at the dock. The negatives were the outdated decor and the fact we saw more than just a few bugs (roaches) in the kitchen. We were careful to keep food put away but still saw more than anticipated while cleaning and moving things on the counters. The owner was responsive when we messaged about a roof leak during a storm and sent a roofer out to repair it. In addition, there were few minor plumbing issues with toilets needing to be plunged or having to take the lid off to flush. The space is what truly made the stay comfortable and relaxing, but for the price we were expecting a few more updates and less presence of bugs. I would recommend staying here as long as those minor issues were addressed.

Plenty of Room
There was 11 of us and there was plenty of room so every couple had their own bedroom and bath. That was wonderful! We also enjoyed the large dining table which allowed us all to sit together for meals and games. The living room was also nice and spacious with plenty of room for those who wanted to watch TV. Being right on the river was peaceful and enjoyable.
