"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

"This villa was perfect for our family of 5. The main level has a nice kitchen, living and dining room with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect for my adult children to stay and to cook meals. The 2nd floor has a nice bedroom and bathroom and smaller kitchen and sitting area. Really nice to give me and my husband our own space. Both have fantastic balconies which we spent a lot of time on. "We really enjoyed our stay at bollana. The pool was fantastic and was enjoyed by us all. The house perhaps needs some updating and attention to detail but was very homely and comfortable for our stay. Costas was very welcoming and intentive to our needs.
