"The Mahone Bay Beach House was the perfect place to start our vacation in Nova Scotia. It is an easy drive from Halifax Airport and immediately welcomed us in to relax on the deck, inhale the fresh coastal air and take in the sounds of the birds and boats in the harbour. The house is just as advertised with all the amenities available and a nice cheery decor. The master bedroom has a terrific view over the water. "We spent 4 nights in this small but clean and well maintained cottage on the Nova Scotia South Shore near Hubbards. Nice water view. Good bathroom with tub/shower combo. Lots of hot water. A few minutes drive from shops and restaurants in Hubbards including a grocery store. Good deck to barbecue or sit with a drink. This unit is best suited for up to two people. Owners Glen, Ruby and Clayton are fully engaged and available. Cottage shares a parking area with the owners’ recreational equipment...

"The location in the heart of the Northwest Cove was perfect. The house is setup to accommodate any type of family or group. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The host Kelly was awesome from check in to check out he was always available if needed and was a delight to deal with. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyway looking for a central spot on the south shore of Nova Scotia."

"We enjoyed our stay close to local beaches, kayak/paddle board rentals and in between Halifax and Mahone Bay. The owner was very attentive and thoughtful of our needs. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the owner brought family videos and yummy coffee for us. It was well equipped with a wonderful washer dryer, BBQ, waffle maker and coffee maker as well as many items for guests. The deck was handy to enjoy meals and watch the deer in the morning and water throughout the day and evening. I...

"Didn't get entry instructions til just a few hours before arrival. Outdated cream and milk in frig. Not wiped clean. Floor has glue and stains. Looks dirty. Dust thick on top frig and wall shelves. Oven drawer not clean. Lightbulb burned out and fixture dirty. No replacement bulb No sheets pillows or blankets for extra beds. One is slippery futon. Other must be loveseat pullout. No topsheet for master so we had to go buy one for hot hubby Yard is gravel back yard so can't sit out and enjoy....

"This place was incredible. Lovely decor, unbelievable views from almost every window, and right on the water! It's close to great swimming beaches, and we enjoyed checking out "The Ovens", Rose Bay General Store, and Hirtles Beach! Some wonderful meals in Lunenberg (the Beach Pea was awesome!) and Mahone Bay (Oh my Cod!). An amazing family vacation with lots to see and do in the area."
