"I was traveling alone and stayed in the Virginia Room. It was very clean, cozy, quiet, and nicely decorated. Sam was friendly and very helpful. I couldn’t make the socials but it was nice to know that there’s an option to get to know other guests. They have a very nice patio area to sit and have coffee and it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. "This is an amazing property and BnB. Steve and Teresa were absolutely wonderful! The property is gorgeous with plenty of walking areas. Quiet and night, but close to Gettysburg. Our room, as the rest of the house was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Steve and Teresa are great! Friendly, attentive, informative and a pleasure to spend time with. This is the only place we will stay when in Gettysburg and can’t wait to go back!"

"My daughter and I stayed here for one night when there was an issue with our air bnb. It was a last minute booking and Dawn got our room ready in very little time with lots of lovely personal details. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and Dawn goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable with tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks and snacks (including delicious home baked cookies) available to help yourself. "We had a fabulous stay at the Stuart Manor. Gorgeous property, delicious breakfast and kind hosts. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms modernly updated. Great location not a far drive from what we were in town for, the Apple Festival. Would definitely recommend !"
