We were a little nervous booking a room because the place had only 2 reviews on the site we booked, and it was so much less expensive than other accommodations in the area. The website also used the same picture for all the rooms, but then charged slightly different rates for some of the rooms, which was confusing. I tried messaging the property manager a couple times before booking to understand the price difference (possibly a better view or quieter room?) but never received a response. Decided to roll the dice and was pleasantly surprised with the room size and cleanliness. To be clear, the place is definitely not high end, and the furniture, carpet, etc. aren’t new or modern, but we were hardly in the room during the day, so having a clean room and comfortable bed to sleep in was great. The bathroom was probably the most dated part of the room, but there was decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The walls were also pretty thin, which I had read in a review, so I packed a white noise machine and it wasn’t a problem. They offered a pretty standard breakfast which my daughter than a lot of big chain hotel offerings. The location was great being on Main Street, with a bus stop almost directly across the street to catch a ride to Aspen Highlands, and the stop to Snowmass less than two blocks down the street. It was also around a short 10min walk to downtown Aspen village. Lastly, we stayed in room 207 and it was the cheapest room available. It overlooked the small parking lot (so no view of anything interesting) and being the middle floor, we occasionally heard the people above’s footsteps, but it wasn’t a problem and the white noise machine helped with this as well.
