House was in a great location! Right near gorgeous park and playground. House was well stocked! Hot tub was key! Grill was great. Alan was a great host. Highly recommend!!
Very comfortable home, convenient to Aspen. We had a group of 5 couples and everyone had their own, nice space. Our host, Alan, was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a large, very comfortable place for our family group of 8, offering privacy and lovely common spaces. Well equipped and good communication with owner.
This was the perfect home for a week away with friends and family. It was clean, comfortable and a very short walk to town. Alan was very responsive host and had everything so perfectly done for our arrival. We look forward to visiting again!
We stayed here for a month this summer and had a great time!!! The owner Alan was extremely hospitable and the house is a great walking distance from the heart of Aspen. We had our 3 little girls with us who made the trip with ease!!! Strongly recommend!!
The house was in a great location for the value. We were able to walk into town and the gondola in about 15 minutes. The house was well kept with a lot of character. I hope to get back again.
it was our third Thanks Giving celebration in Aspen and first one we stayed in a house on the other side of the river. Itnis a beautiful and quier part of town we didnt know before very close to several trails. The house was very tidy and clean, beds are very confortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. We had a great time at Alan's place.
Alan excels as a host/VRBO Owner in every way imaginable. Our rooms and amenities were pleasant and overstocked with comforts. Kitchen and utility area had ALL the comforts of home where other owners have such sterile spaces that force guests to go to the store for everything. Location had us mere minutes from everything we needed. Comfortable and beautiful, loved all Alan's attention to detail and artwork. Would return in a heartbeat.
This house is a wonderful 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath house just south of Highway 82 on the East side of Aspen. It was convenient to everything and although we had a rental car, walking would have been no problem. The nine adults in our group had plenty of room as there were three bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. We used the hot tub everyday after a day on the slopes which was wonderful. Checking in and checking out was a text message and obviously easy. Included everything we needed for a great vacation and would definitely book again if we go back to Aspen next year.
Alan’s home was absolutely stunning and absolutely wonderful for our group of 8. It was spacious and comfortable with every amenity that we needed. The kitchen was setup and allowed for all of us to cook family meals together. We would sit out at the table on the front porch for breakfast and enjoy the beautiful weather. The hot tub was also nice for the evening. It was so convenient to be able to walk thru the beautiful park to the market and downtown. This house is definitely a gem that we’re happy we discovered!
I visited this past weekend with a colleague and two very important clients for the Food & Wine classic. The property couldn't have been better. The 4 main bedrooms are on separate corners of the home and separate floors - giving everyone lots of privacy with en suite bathrooms for each. The main floor is spacious, yet cozy with every amenity you would want. We didn't get to spend much time in the home, but while leaving we all commented what a great property this was! The property manager Alan was extremely responsive and hospitable. This property also doesn't come with an extensive post-trip list of tasks - we were able to pack up and leave quite fast at the end. It's a short walk from downtown Aspen, close to all the hot spots, but is tucked away across a rushing stream and in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be staying at this property again! Thank you, Alan for your amazing hospitality!
Alan was amazing, responsive and very helpful. The property was absolutely perfect for our group of close friends. The house layout was very accommodating with separate spaces with very roomy bedrooms and a very functional and social kitchen space.
The hot tub is large and was used 1 to 2 times per day for our weary, hard charging ski crew. Plenty of towels, plates, etc.
Basically a perfect lounge space and launchpad for skiing and nights in downtown Aspen. We both drove and walked into town...both were easy. Parking was very easy as well.
We loved the house and Alan's hospitality! FIVE.five Stars out of Five. We'll be back for sure.
James.
This is a great property with many amenities including food, spices and toilet paper, BUT to call the 5th bedroom a bedroom is a stretch. There was no proper floor, about 15 outlets in the ceiling and walls (must have been a grow room), no closet, no way to control temperature, no proper drawers - not a great experience for me for sure. That said, the rest of the house was really nice. Cozy, clean, comfortable, great hot tub. There really should be some heated walkway or something between the parking area and the house. Nothing but snow and ice. And there are 3 levels to the house - all bedrooms are either upstairs or downstairs.
The house is nicer than appears in the pics on the listing. Great touches throughout: well stocked kitchen, plenty of very nice towels, etc. Lots of character. We all enjoyed our stay.
My friends and I loved our stay here! Beautiful space with gorgeous art, hot tub, fireplace, and super convenient to town and Ajax lifts. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved Alan's property. The house was great, well equipped, beautifully decorated and the location was perfect. I had 2 minor questions and he responded immediately. Looking forward to going back.
Loved this house, it was perfect for our family trip to Aspen. The house has everything you need, very comfortable, great kitchen, large hot tub and cozy fireplace.
