"This is a very charming hotel in a small sleepy village. Its a bit of a distance from everything, but a great location by the sea. The staff really tried hard to make yourself comfortable, and the hotel has a great atmosphere. Attentive staff who really wants you to enjoy yourself. We were fortunate enough that one of our rooms where number 36, which had a small but charming balcony very close to the sea, where we enjoyed the sunset every night. "This is a comfortable hotel with stunning views across the Drammensfjord. I am sure the hotel comes into its own in the summer, but this was January and very much in the off-season. Nevertheless we were made very welcome by the courteous and friendly staff. The bedroom was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The gym and pool are excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel."

"The only complaint I have is that because these are unmanaged or at least I never met or saw an employee - there was no one to deal with the folks who decided to stay up yelling and screaming all night. The next night too someone came onto a shared balcony and tried to look into my window. Just there wasn’t anyone to call in these situations for help."
