" It’s called HOSTEL Balai not Hotel - BIG difference. It was closed on arrival (14:00) so no 24hr reception. The staff left in the early evening so only guests left in the building! The bar was shut. The room was small and hostel-like It is very rundown. Only stay for a night if you have to. Lack of staff worrying for women travelling alone. "

"Terrible! Worst place ever. The room was not properly cleaned (dirty unflushed toilet, hair in the sink). We got anothet room which looked fine at first but there was mould in the bathroom and the AC did not work. Moreover, there was a strange smell in all rooms. Aparently it had been a youth hostel before. Definitely not hotel standard. "

"I recently stayed at this hotel (21-28 May 2014). There wern't many guest staying as it was out of season, but i didnt mind that. Unfortunatley the bar was closed 4 of the nights out of 7. You get 8 hours free wifi that can only be used at the reception area, after that, you have to pay for wifi. The pool was good, had the best pick of sun beds! "Great loation. Located very close to La Pelosa. Easy drive or bike ride to La Pelosa and other beaches/outdoor activities. Nice hotel but seemed focused on families with children. We were a young couple and felt a little out of place. Not sure if it was the time of year or if this place appeals to couples with children. Not an issue because we spent most our time at off the property. Great staff."

"Apartment is very nice, spotlessly clean with outside space front and back. Sofa bed was very comfortable with a good mattress. Pool was nice and had a lifeguard on duty at the times specified. 5 min walk from the famous Spiaggia La Pelosa, just remember to bring Straw Mat or Microfibre Towel. Only negatives, quite noisy from adjoining apartments, no soundproofing and the area outside property is very run down, lots unfinished construction sites."
