"The property has been in the owners family since the 1500s. The place was rustic and quaint. Very quiet. It is literally in the middle of the woods. We were there for Ironman race in Lahti, so it was a bit far out for the event. There is limited accommodations in Lahti for an event this size. As a result we just slept there and kept our things there. The price was reasonable for the property. The only issue we had was with Interhome who is the manager of the rental. "Lovely location right by the lake. Quiet, peaceful and plenty of space in and around the property. 10L of drinking water provided. Has dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, etc. Wood burning sauna. Only gripe would be no WiFi which if advertised for foreign visitors might be a put off. "

"The pictures don’t really do justice to the beauty and amazement of this place. We live in the United States and we are already planning to come back. Amazing communication with Otto before we arrived and amazing communication with Jussi when we arrived. He showed us around and explained what we needed to do to care for the place while we stayed. The only thing I would say is that the pictures don’t fully communicate how amazing this place is. Prepare for a luxury stay. Well worth the money."
